Chapter 573.1
Resume Sightseeing (2)
After we all had a good lunch, we went back to sightseeing.
First, we went to the souvenir shop, which we could not see properly before because of losing Shii and Sakuya.
It was probably customary to visit such places last, since if one bought something from the shop, they would have to carry extra luggage. However, that was not a problem for our family, where we had one space-magic pouch for each of us.
After that, we went to various other shops along the way.
We each bought what we wanted to buy within our budget. I bought a lot of meat for the pets that stayed at home and for Rir’s family. There was some nice-seasoned meat available.
I thought it would be better to buy toys or something for Rir and his family, but Setsu was basically in a good mood as long as she had a ball, so I decided that buying meat for her would be the best way to make her happy.
Setsu was growing fast, and was eating a lot of food every day. And her body was getting bigger and bigger.
Compared to an adult Fenrir, she would still be considered small, though in fact, she was already huge by dog size. I was sure that when I returned home, she would have grown again.
I bought so many things that I might be mistaken as a vendor. After enjoying the shopping, we moved on to the next place.
Our destination was just a block away – the cathedral.
“Wow, it’s impressive!” (Illuna)
“It’s huge!” (Shii)
“…. The stained-glass is wonderful.” (Enne)
The girls cheered. The Wraith Girls were also in a good mood and were hailing.
“It’s an amazingly large cathedral… Maybe it’s even bigger than my place.” (Nell)
“Your place is built with an emphasis on practicality. This one is more… I think it’s built from a commercial perspective.” (Yuki)
The cathedral’s exterior clearly showed that a lot of money had been spent to build it, with magnificent stained-glass windows everywhere.
There were many spires and ornaments, and a magnificent grand bell tower could also be seen.
It was obviously built with intention to attract people, and it was prehistoric… Notre Dame style Cathedral. It was built with a scale and shape similar to that of that building.
It looked as if it would be able to attract believers with its majestic appearance alone. In fact, I think that’s what they were aiming for.
On the other hand, Nell’s place, which I had also visited before, was built in a rather plain manner, to be frank.
Although they claimed to be a church, they usually had an army of [Holy Knights] and [Heroes] around, which created a warrior-like atmosphere there.
The god they followed was the same, a goddess who was widely worshiped among humans…. As the country changes, so would the circumstances.
There was a museum right next to the cathedral, perhaps to attract people as a tourist attraction. The museum even introduced the history of the city. There were many restaurants and eateries in the area.
As for me, I would like to go straight to the museum where I could see the history of this country because of Shii’s case, but…. we should visit the places in order.
As a tourist attraction and a country with the largest number of airship stations in the world, there were many tourists besides us, and we could see a thousand different species.
The most common race other than humans here would probably be dwarves. And afterwards the next most known and seen race here was most likely demons.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
It made sense that dwarves would be one of the most commonly seen races here, they had huge numbers after all. Moreover, they also had a craftsman’s spirit, so it’s given that they would be interested in this country’s technology.
