Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 92 Beyond the veil of consciousness

"Back to the Abyss," Void said as he appeared in chaotic space, surrounded by multiple marbles—these were universes.

Space is a concept most don't understand, and those who do can't fully explain it. Breaking through to Rank 3 made Void realize some things.

Knowledge was transmitted into his mind from the Abyss. Space is currently divided into nine layers, and for now, he can access up to the fourth layer. Laws exist in the third layer of space, but the fourth isn't just about laws—there are other creatures here as well.

There are three major divisions for all creatures everywhere: the Divine, Chaos, and Void races.

Although Void named his race the Void race, they weren't the actual Void race. These three races are what beings at Rank 1 are divided into, meaning to reach at least Rank 1, one must possess one of these three bloodlines.

The Void race consists of creatures that live in higher-level space layers starting from the fourth layer. First are the Void beasts. They roam around the fourth layer of space but sometimes wander to the third layer, like the beast Void encountered.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Then we have the Phantom race—they can't be harmed physically and are the primary race with the Void bloodline.

Next is the Divine race, with the main members being the Angel and God races. Contrary to popular belief, gods didn't create the angel race; the two are separate races.

Last is the Chaotic race, primarily demons and chaotic beasts. The Void race isn't the only one roaming in the deeper layers of space—the chaotic beasts also dwell there. They devour everything, as that is their nature, and all races fear them, much like the demon race.

A portal opened in front of Void, much larger than his own. Looking at what lay beyond, Void grinned. "Home," he murmured and stepped through.

Upon arriving, Void didn't see the usual Third Abyss, but something else—giant, half-worlds. These were worlds without a sky, each over a thousand mythological units in size, some reaching tens of thousands or more.

After all, Rank 3 beings dwell here.

Each Rank 3 demon claims a place and establishes their domain. Once a Rank 3 demon settles, the island changes according to that demon's will. Then they build their personal army and can access the Second and Third Abysses to recruit.

Void looked around and began searching. Soon, he found a relatively larger island and landed on it. Using his perception, he checked it and confirmed it was empty.

"Well, this is the one," Void thought with a smile, and the island began to transform. A world filled with fire, wind, water, and sand formed, each as a distinct region.

The center was the Fire Region, to the south was the Sand Region, to the north the Water Region, the west the Wind Region, and the east a flourishing region with all elements combined.

"Now, my slaves will come from different races, not only the demon race. Maybe when I reach Rank 4, this place will expand into a multi-universe. Interesting," Void said with a smile as he landed in the Fire Region. This would be his domain.

"A giant castle will do, but I might not stay long. Okay, let's build a castle and a house," Void thought. He waved his hand, and the elements—sand, water, and more—merged to create the materials he needed: metal, glass, everything essential.

Slowly, two giant structures rose, appearing to stretch infinitely. One was a massive castle, and beside it was a luxurious house.

"Nice," Void said, then shrank down to his human form so he could enter the buildings. He explored them both and was impressed. Everything he imagined had come to life.

"Bending reality… making the unreal real… this power," Void thought in amazement and decided to test it further. He imagined cars, phones, and many other things, and one by one, they appeared. He imagined clothes, and the laws of reality were broken into elements, forming them precisely.

But everything stopped when Void tried to create a Rank 1 being. He sensed a strange presence descend; he couldn't create a Rank 1 being.

"What about humans?" Void thought, and soon, bones, organs, and blood began to form. A male human face appeared.

"A human," Void murmured in astonishment. But it was only a body; it wasn't fully alive.

"Consciousness… hey system… how will I do this?" Void wondered aloud.

(Host, you must use your law… delve deep into the first layer of space… you may glimpse the world of consciousness. Be cautious, Host—if you touch a stronger being's consciousness, you might perish.)

"Oh… wow. Danger is everywhere, but I'll be fine," Void said, starting the process as his law aura spread across the Fire Region.

His mind tapped into something, and reality fragmented around him.

Void felt his mind opening as images flashed by, revealing a thin golden thread.

(Host, follow it.)

"Hm… what? Follow it," Void stammered in confusion for a moment before speaking. His body became transparent, and he felt hollow, empty.

"This strange feeling," Void thought.

(Hurry, Host.)

"Right," Void snapped back and followed the thread. Soon, he reached a new realm filled with multiple threads of different colors leading to a small, irregular matter.

"What's that?" Void asked.

"And what is this place?"

(Host, this is the consciousness world. These threads are consciousnesses connected to the consciousness world. They're known as the threads of fate or destiny. Each color has a meaning… white represents an ordinary life.)

"No wonder there are so many," Void noted.

(Yes, Host. Then there are the destinies of the chosen ones; the deeper the shade of gold, the stronger their fate. Black threads belong to villains, and there are others like green and, of course, the legendary red threads. These beings can be good or bad, but entire universes, multiverses, and even omniverses are affected by them. They hold immense power.)

"System, that's incredible… what color is my thread?" Void asked with a faint smile.

(I can't reveal that, Host. We don't have much time.)
