Elder Shal, Elder Ayurvati, along with the Sect Master and Grand Elder Cao Ming were standing in the void. They were closest to Shi Lang while the other elders had surrounded the place and managed the sect array.

The elders were shocked, because the spirit vortex did not stop and the disciples who had been cultivating outside could not go on. They were brimming with spiritual energy, and many of them complained that they might explode at any moment.

However, the elders were not worried, this was a good thing. The entire sect had gained a lot of spiritual energy and the disciples from the lowest to the highest ranks were now advancing in their cultivation.

Suddenly, the lady with the fox tails appeared in the void. The elders were shocked, and Cao Ming asked, "Elder Ai, is everything alright?"

The lady nodded but her gaze was locked at the space next to the Terran. Sure enough the void was torn open. Ai frowned and raised her hand to make a move and attack the new comer but Raksha appeared before her and said, "It is a friend."

Ai stopped and a few moments later, a figure emerged from the portal. It was a young lady wearing an azure hanfu. Her sharp eyes gave an unprecedented sense of danger to the people. Ai took in a deep breath and said, "I should have know that it was your aura on him."

The new comer smiled and said, "I haven't seen you in ages, big sister Ai. Hope you have been well."

Ai nodded and looking at the confused humans around her she said, "This is the eastern overlord of the four Holy Beasts."

Yes, the phoenix had returned beside her selected champion. She looked at Raksha, and smiled as she asked, "Is he causing trouble again?"

Raksha shook her head and explained the situation to her and Hou Bing sighed, "Humans are always doing something stupid. Forget about that, tell him not to advance to the next realm. His foundation will be shaky."

Raksha nodded and vanished from the spot. Ai asked, "Why not let him cultivate? With so many of us present here, he would not suffer any harm."

Hou Bing replied, "This kid has not taken much pills for his cultivation. Also, he is my champion, so I need him to grow strong but with a firm foundation. The way ahead is not easy."
