Chapter 945: Chapter 945: Never to Appear Again
Grandpa Yin regretfully thought.
“Come back and help out with the company,” Grandpa Yin said to Yin Zhen, “The mess that Yin He has made this time should not be publicised. I don’t trust anyone else but you.”
Yin Zhen’s heart sneered.
They actually wanted her to clean up this mess?
And then, after she had brought the company back on track, just hand it back to Yin He intact?
What a beautiful thought.
Yin Zhen refused, “Grandpa, you said that a girl shouldn’t be too ambitious. I won’t meddle in the company’s affairs. Plus, Dad is still here.”
“Are you blaming me?” Grandpa Yin’s brows furrowed deeply.
“I wouldn’t dare,” Yin Zhen said calmly.
Grandpa Yin scrutinized her, “We are a family, don’t harbor resentment. You and Yin He are siblings, don’t let things become too stiff.”
He looked at Yin He, “Since you know your fault, you must perform well. Yin Zhen is not your enemy. Why are you just standing there? Can’t you say a few nice words? You have no tact. Hurry up and apologize to Yin Zhen!”
Yin Hexin’s thoughts shifted subtly, and he cooperated very well, “I’m sorry, maybe I haven’t done well enough, and I’ve caused many misunderstandings for Yin Zhen. How about you come to Hao Garden tomorrow? I’ll prepare food and drinks to make it up to you and have a good talk. I hope you can forgive and forget.”
Hao Garden was a residence Yin He had purchased outside of the Yin family’s property.
Yin Zhen didn’t want to agree at all, but Grandpa Yin and Yin Hongjiang were both looking at her as if she would become the criminal if she didn’t nod in agreement.
Yin Zhen, in fact, was curious to see what Yin He’s ulterior motive was, so she nodded.
Yin He immediately said, “Then I’ll go back and get things ready.”
“Stop right there!” Grandpa Yin commanded with a stern face, “Don’t even think about leaving tonight. Explain everything you’ve done clearly to me first!”
Yin He halted in his steps.
Yin Zhen found this extremely tedious and turned to leave.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
The next day.
Yin Zhen arrived at Hao Garden.
Yin He, who had been detained by Grandpa Yin all night trying to find ways to erase his mistakes, had also just arrived not long before. As he opened the door and saw the woman in front of him, he sneered, “Should I commend your bravery for actually daring to keep this appointment?”
Yin Zhen glanced at him, “If anything happens to me today, without much thought, everyone will suspect you.”
Yin He stepped aside, watching her enter the house and then closing the door behind her.
Inside the house, there was no so-called food and drinks to apologize with, and Yin He pretentiously poured her a glass of cool boiled water.
There were just the two of them present, and the venom in Yin He’s eyes was barely concealed.
Yin Zhen sneered, “Looking at me with that kind of gaze, aren’t you afraid it will be recorded by surveillance?”
Yin He smiled meaningfully, “Why would I have surveillance in my own home, that would be inconvenient for some things I might want to do, right?”
His brows darkened with harshness, “Isn’t Qixing enough for you? You just have to possess everything, don’t you?”
“Before you came, all that you speak of was already mine,” Yin Zhen stood her ground unwaveringly.
“You must be very disappointed, thinking you found evidence that could topple me, but in the end, all you did was temporarily remove me from the company,” Yin He spoke with self-satisfaction and arrogance. “After your reveal, Grandpa immediately helped cover for me, instead of banishing me as you wished. Are you disappointed?”
Yin Zhen responded with a cold gaze, “Did you call me here just to spout some nonsense in an attempt to provoke me?”
“No, I came to make peace with you,” Yin He’s lips curled up with a smile full of malicious intent. “But you’re too stubborn; we couldn’t come to an agreement. You’re so filled with hatred for the Yin family that in a burst of anger, you’ll leave for a distant place, never to return… forever, never to appear again.”
Yin Zhen’s gaze turned icy.
No wonder he insisted on meeting outside. It turns out, he intended for her not to return today.
As he turned around, Yin Zhen picked up the glass of water and shook the powder she had put into it until it dissolved.
