Chapter 741: Chapter 741: The Turner Family’s Support

Housekeeper Turner respectfully opened the car door, inviting Xaviera Evans to get in. To her surprise, there was already a man in the car. He looked pale and exhausted, showing signs of long-term illness.

Based on her experience, she guessed that the man was nearing the end of his life, as his eyes revealed a sense of deathly despair.

The man didn’t speak, just glanced at Xaviera before closing his eyes again, too weak from pain and sickness to focus on anything else.

For some reason, seeing this frail man made Xaviera’s heart ache. Perhaps it was because she felt sorry for someone about to face death.

The car ride was quiet, and they eventually stopped at the Turner house. The housekeeper got out of the car first to open the door for the man. As Xaviera got out, she saw several bodyguards rushing over with a wheelchair, helping the man into it.

After only a few steps, the man slumped weakly in the wheelchair. However, even in such a state, he seemed to have a powerful presence.

“Miss Evans, please,” the housekeeper politely spoke.

Xaviera then realized she had been staring at the man for quite a while and quickly apologized before following the housekeeper inside.

Once Xaviera entered, the housekeeper instructed his subordinates, “The old lord doesn’t like Miss Tracy Swift; he says she’s too scheming.”

The Turner family’s subordinates quickly understood the housekeeper’s message and left right away.

Meanwhile, at the Elefelli Restaurant, Steve Price hurriedly called Caleb Mamet, “President, the Turner family has taken our wife away. It seems to be about the design plans.”

Caleb’s expression changed. After a moment’s thought, he replied indifferently, “Hmm, I see.”

Inside the Lowen Clubhouse, Caleb put on his dress and walked out of the study, followed closely by Sean Price, “President, it’s late. Where are we going?”

“The Turner house.”

On the other side, Xaviera met Mr. Jared Turner once again, who was as elegant and refined as before. Still, there was something different in the way he looked at her, “Miss Evans, my grandfather has been waiting for you inside.”

So it was Sir Turner who wanted to see her. Xaviera had heard that in his youth, he wielded great power and was the reason the Turner family held such a high position in the upper class. His son and grandson were also outstanding, but for unknown reasons, they all mysteriously disappeared after becoming the family head.

Sir Turner had white hair, but his spirit was strong. He was holding one of Quine Heninger’s hollow jade ring porcelain vases in his hand, and as Xaviera arrived, he nodded toward her, still with a serious expression on his face.

The Turner family was an influential clan with strict upbringing. All their heirs had been carefully selected to ensure the family’s prosperity and had to put in lots of effort. Sir Turner grew up in such a strict environment, and since his family consisted of mostly boys, it was only natural for him to be more stern. However, when it came to young and beautiful girls like Xaviera, his attitude softened quite a bit, “Miss Evans.”

He put the hollow jade ring porcelain vase on the table and tried to use a gentler tone, “Miss Evans, please take a look at this invitation.”

Xaviera looked down and saw it was from Tracy Swift.

Sir Turner tossed the invitation aside, and housekeeper Turner immediately understood, respectfully saying, “Miss Evans, our Turner family is well acquainted with many famous painters. If you wish to learn, we can arrange it at any time. That Lester Bank is insignificant.”

“Miss Evans, feel free to express your wishes. The Turner family will give you the best possible conditions. Some people are simply not worthy of your status.”

Xaviera looked confused, then glanced at Sir Turner with suspicion. What did the Turner family mean by this? It felt like Sir Turner was trying to support her in case she was hurt by the invitation.

Housekeeper Turner, with a smile on his face, brewed her some fine panama geisha coffee and then said with a smile, “We heard that Miss Evans was coming, so our lord has ordered the kitchen to prepare pastries and even brought out his treasured panama geisha coffee. If you don’t like it, we can also prepare some coffee for you.”n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Xaviera held up the cup and was immediately greeted by a pleasant aroma. She said quickly, “This coffee is quite nice, no need to trouble yourself.”

What puzzled her now was, why Sir Turner was treating her so well?

Before she could figure it out, Sir Turner spoke slowly, “You can choose any teacher you want in the painting world. As long as you set your sights on someone, the Turner family will try their best to invite them for you and even hold a grand apprenticeship banquet.”
