1513  Th-there is still more... MORE INFORMATION! (5)

Noting down the Eastern Region as a rather chaotic place filled with both constant wars and opportunities according to the information from the old man belonging to the Explorer Union, the information soon moved on to the Southern Region. The Largest and strongest of the different regions on the continent and also the location where the true core of the continent was located- or more specially located inside the Southern Core Region.

At the same time, it was also the location where most of the churches on the continent had established their main churches and the bastions of their faiths.

As a result of this, the number of major powers in the Southern Region was not just a few dozen, but was instead over a hundred, a total of 102 to be exact. More than the other three regions combined.

Although… The major powers in that region were a bit different, as 93 of these major powers were churches that didn't really have the same level of power as a normal major power, but they could apparently borrow strength from their gods if pushed too far and some had the power to directly destroy weaker major power through this.

Most shocking was the fact that out of the countless churches that fought for faith in the Southern Region and across the entire continent, there were nine core faiths that held absolute power in the region, their strength unknown, but at least reaching the same level as an empire like the Blue Sea Empire.

Not much was known about the nine core faiths, as they rarely moved and didn't seem as obsessed with gathering faith like the rest of the churches. Instead, they remained silent and stayed inside their relatively small territories centered around the core of the continent without doing anything.

Xuan Hao did try to ask more into these nine core faiths, but old man from the Explorer Union clearly stated that this kind of information was not something he could get his hands on with his current cultivation and if he wanted any chance of learning about the nine core faiths, he would have to go to the Southern Region where the main headquarters were located. Only there could he obtain that kind of information.

Although he did feel disappointed at not being able to learn more about these nine core faiths that clearly seemed to be the strongest powers on the continent given their seemingly unwavering status on in the Southern Region and the fac that they were all situated around the true core of the continent.

Of course, he had tried asking into the so-called true core of the continent but ended up with a similar answer to the one when he had asked about the nine core faiths.

All things considered, he wasn't disappointed in the information he had managed to gain, as he got a general understanding of the power structure of the continent now.

For one, the best location for him to look for new elders to join the sect would undoubtedly be the war torn Eastern Region located in a constant state of warfare.

Not only because it would be far easier to find wandering cultivators in that kind of environment, but also because heading to the Western Region with the Heavenly Dragon Temple around wasn't that thrilling to think about. Especially given that the Western Region already had a bad relationship with the Northern Region.

As for heading to the Southern Region… He didn't have a death wish and had no plans of potentially landing himself in the middle of a battle for faith between the different churches established there. Especially so because he couldn't predict what kind of weird methods they might employ with their divine energy.

Lost in his own thoughts as he became fully set on the next location he would be going to, Xuan Hao suddenly noticed to old man from the Explorer Union starting to get up and begin to leave the room. "Ah, before you leave, can I ask you a bit more about the Eastern Region?" To stop this, he quickly called out to him and asked a new question. Planning to learn more about the region he was planning to search through for new elders.

"Huh? Ah! Of course you can!" Hearing Xuan Hao calling out to him, the old man quickly sat back down with a smile on his face before the two of them worked out a price and Xuan Hao paid him a second later as he quickly began talking about the Eastern Region in more detail.

For one, Xuan Hao learnt a bit more of the four major powers; they were actually not four major powers so to speak, but all stemmed from an ancient dynasty that had once ruled the entire Eastern Region and had been a power unsurpassed in power since ancient times.

These four major powers of the Eastern Region were in fact made up of four major families that had been connected to the imperial linage of the dynasty that had existed in the past.

The reason for the constant war was mainly these four large families fighting each other to claim the right of the ancient imperial family and the right to reestablish the ancient dynasty in their own name.

In turn, this had also ended up giving birth to countless assignation and information related organization across the Eastern Region, as the four major families used everything at their disposal to try and fight each other to the death.

Among these many organizations that sprung forth and perished whenever they were found by one of the opposing major families, one of them managed to survive the bloodshed and break free to establish themselves as an independent power not shackled by one of the major families.

This organization was the Shadow Lotus Sect, an information and assassination focused organization that had managed spread throughout the neutral territories and infiltrate the territories of some weaker major powers on the continent in a similar way to the Explorer Union, though far weaker and unable to properly show themselves without being hunted down by the countless enemies they had made over the years.
