“Chatty!”
Aidan Lucas gently pinched the other side of her face, reproaching her.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Then, he continued to peck lightly on the side of the face he had just kissed.
This time, Lily Gray stood still, not daring to move.
She could only close her eyes, telling herself not to be nervous, not to be nervous.
The man was becoming more and more unruly with his kisses.
He had just been kissing her cheeks, but then his lips moved to the side and fiercely kissed her trembling red lips.
“Umm…” At this, Lily Gray could no longer keep her balance. She opened her eyes reflexively, nearly sliding down against the door panel.
Two powerful palms held her, steadying her.
“Does it hurt now?” he asked, his voice husky and low.
The man who usually pampered her so much, couldn’t bear to see her in pain. But now, when he saw Lily Gray frown, expressing her discomfort, he just straight up watched her, void of any expression.
His otherwise stunningly beautiful features didn’t soften.
“Just now, it was with this face you were smiling at those people. Lily, do you know, when I see you laugh so beautifully and gently, I just want to take you on the conference table, in front of everyone, and love you fiercely.”
As he said this, the man’s hand tightened on her waist.
Lily Gray was drawn into his broad chest, held by him.
Lily Gray’s heart trembled as she leaned into his arms.
She realized that what Aidan Lucas was saying was not false threats.
The possessive movements of his, the domineering grip on her arms, and his fierce demeanor while speaking, were all clearly indicating his stance.
Lily Gray could not help but think about what it would have been like if Aidan Lucas hadn’t restrained himself earlier and had actually taken her on the conference table in front of all the shareholders, branch heads, and even Madam Lucas.
Goodness!
Lily Gray dared not think about it anymore.
If all this had really happened, she believed she would never have the courage to stay in A City anymore.
No, not just A City. She would probably not even be able to stay in Eastonia.
“I…I was wrong…I promise, I will never smile at others like that again.” She was so scared her voice changed.
Although she had no idea what ‘smiling so beautifully’ meant.
If Aidan Lucas could tell her, wouldn’t she be capable of changing?!
In her panic, Lily Gray spontaneously wrapped her arms around the man’s neck.
She even initiated a soft kiss, rubbing against his slightly cool thin lips without any technique.
Seeing the man’s face still cold, she quickly vowed, “I promise, from now on, I’ll only smile like that for you, okay?”
Despite knowing that this promise was a bit unrealistic – how could she never smile at others in a lifetime.
However, in confrontation with furious and jealous Aidan Lucas, she had to appease with insincere words.
Aidan Lucas slightly lifted the corners of his mouth, a hint of coldness in his smile, “Remember, it was you who said that, I didn’t force you.”
Damn, Lily Gray suddenly felt like she’d stepped into a trap.
Looking bewildered, she tried to amend, “But Madam Lucas said, I need to learn to share your burdens, to help you socialize. When socializing, I can’t always keep a straight face, right?”
Seeing her obedient attitude, Aidan Lucas bit her red lips again, coldly saying: “Why can’t you?”
Lily Gray was somewhat speechless.
Now she finally understood why Aidan Lucas hardly ever smiled when he talked to others.
It turns out Mr. Lucas thought that others were like him. When interacting with others, he only needs to give cold commands and dictate, not needing to return smiles, right?
What do you think?
