"Who is it?" Wu Xia asked.

Quickly, they opened the door when they learned he was from the merchant guild. The man had come to deliver a letter.

Reaching for the letter, Wu Xia furrowed her brow for a moment before taking a deep breath.

"Young Miss, what is it?" Bi asked, frowning.

"Nothing… The merchant guild is returning to our city tomorrow," Wu Xia replied.

"What! Why are they rushing back? It's barely been two days since we arrived," Bi said, her face filled with shock and confusion.

"Young Miss… what about the strange device?" the young man asked.

"We'll find out from the merchant guild tomorrow."

The following day, the Celestial Heavenly Store departed from Dongping City with huge fanfare. In the center carriage, Wu Xia, the Wei Patriarch, and the Sun Patriarch sat calmly, each drinking their tea.
