Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!

Chapter 339 Conclusion

"No matter how powerful you are, you can never let your guard down in the end." Seeing the dazed look in Noah's eyes, the man muttered before reaching out to place his hand on Noah's forehead.

"Indeed, you cannot!" Just as his hands were about to reach Noah, the reality around them started to crack as a bored sound came from behind the man followed by the sounds of air tearing.

*Woosh!*

The man immediately turned around to block the attack, but all he saw were two things. The first was a pair of golden eyes looking at him with indifference and disinterest; the other thing was a cold blade sweeping toward him.

As the cold blade touched his neck, slowly moving through his tissues, there was only a single thought in the guy's mind.

'Looks like I was the one who let his guard down. I need to inform the lord about this man somehow. He will be the greatest obstacle to forge the dawn of the new era. I cannot let that happen.' Summoning all of his will, the man on the cusp of dying raised his hands while pulling out a talisman.

*Swoosh!*

*Woosh!*

"Like I would let you do that." Catching the sneaky movements of his hands, Noah moved his hands even faster and decapitated the man before making his other hand rip off his arm with his claws before he could even channel his qi.

*Thud!*

Before the man could even send any information, his head and arm were thrown on the ground. Despite stopping that from happening, Noah's face did not look good as he watched the body disappear in smoke along with the storage artifact he was wearing.

That was not the end of it as Noah turned around to face his back against the disappearing body, a wisp of black miasma rushed towards him.

*Smack!*

He waved one of his wide wings and shattered the curse coming in his direction without even turning around and continued to look in the direction of the other dead guy.

"Sigh~ dealing with the talisman made me distracted from keeping his body intact." Muttering, he walked towards the other one, "I wonder if this one has any useful information."

With a wave of his hand, Noah pulled the severed head towards him and used his technique on his mind. He closed his mind and analyzed the important memories before sighing in dejection.

*Thud!*

He threw his head on the rest of his body as it slowly caught fire and burned up in flames with everything.

"So they were only assigned together for a couple of days, Noah, no wonder they were not in sync." Sighing, Noah looked at the burning corpse on the ground while thinking, 'At least I found one of their bases.'

While he was thinking, he sensed people coming in his direction and turned to see five people approaching. Elysia was the first to appear by his side, invisible to everyone except Noah and Xin Yan.

She wanted to ask him something, but seeing the others approaching, she decided to hold it in for later.

"That was awesome." Landing in front of him, Wuhan exclaimed with a wide grin on his face, "How did you even pull us into that illusion? Did you place the illusion before entering the space tear?"

Ruo'er and Ming Ye also looked at Noah, but they were more focused on gawking at his appearance. The horns, the wings, the tail, and his body covered in scales at some parts caught their attention. Looking at him closely felt different than they did from afar.

Seeing their gazes, Noah sighed and caught their attention with his words, "I did not place any illusion before entering that place."

His reply shocked everyone except Elysia, who could see through the illusion from the start. Although Xin Yan did not see through the illusion clearly like Elysia, she could vaguely tell when Noah made his move.

"It was when I raised my hand to conjure that huge sword." As Noah explained, they all recalled how his hands glowed when he made that move and nodded in understanding.

"I never conjured something that powerful made of Sword intent that would have exhausted my qi. I just conjured it with some illusion and a small… trick.." Noah did not know how to explain magic, so he just used a trick.

Wuhan thought that Noah wanted to keep his technique a secret and nodded in understanding.

"Did you find something noteworthy?" It was Xin Yan who asked the question this time. Seeing her look at the charred ground, Noah understood what she meant and replied, "I got a location of one hideout."

"There are still some hideouts left?" Wuhan looked shocked at the revelation, confusing Noah. Seeing his confusion, Xin Yan explained how he had been cleaning some of the bases Elysia found.

"That is a good thing; we can no longer waste any time. We have to look for their leader and kill him before things get out of hand." Noah nodded in understanding before he slowly undid his transformation. Wuhan, Ming Ye, and Ruo'er watched in amazement as Noah's wings and tail vanished from their sight.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Even Wuhan looked at him more closely this time; because of his excitement, he did not even care about his appearance. But as he looked at his new appearance and the robes, he realized the crucial point he had forgotten before. Noticing that the moment was right, he decided to ask the question himself.

"Noah… that's your name, huh?" hearing Wuhan's words, Noah paused, realizing what he was getting at. He looked the man in his eyes, waiting for him to finish. "You look older in this appearance… how old are you?"

Wuhan wanted to ask why Noah lied to him and what his true identity was, but seeing his appearance, he asked the question that was on the top of his head. He blushed a little feeling the gazes coming from the side after he asked the question.

"Hehe~ Why don't we go to your sect and talk there more comfortably." Noah chuckled hearing the question and suggested with a warm smile on his face. All of them agreed and made their way back to the sect.
