Before the promotion to the escort ship, its defence attribute and shield value attribute were as follows:

Besides the [Pure Yang Sword Beam Cannon] and [Dark Matter Energy Shield Generator], the [Electromagnetic Ray Cannon] and [Obsidian Ship Armor], among others, also experienced a similar increase.

The reason for this increase is simple. Previously, when it was a Spectral Airship, all the warship’s base component slots received an additional 20% attribute bonus compared to Zero Rank, but with the promotion to the Guardian Class, this bonus effect increased from 20% to 50%.

Never underestimate this effect; it’s akin to granting every base component a steadfast "Performance Enhancement 50%" feature of purple quality.

And this is the very reason why warships with the same enhancement level and quality of base components perform so much better on Guardian Class warships than on Spectral Airships.

Additionally, the increase of three secondary cannon slots that comes with the promotion to Guardian Class is another main reason.

After the promotion from a Spectral Airship to a Guardian Class warship, although the main cannon slots didn’t increase—that would be something for a future promotion to a Cruiser—the addition of three secondary cannon slots means that a Torch Warship now has four secondary cannons, providing a small boost to its own firepower.

As for these three new secondary cannons, Song Chi had long planned for them.
