Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

At nightfall, I sent the Zero Puppet outside to gather information. The Zero Puppet was wearing a dark magical cloak and mask. It is difficult for anyone to recognise its true identity.

After leaving the Blue Merchant Company's premises. The Zero Puppet started its detective work. As usual, it chose nearby shops as its primary target. Continue your journey on empire

As time passed, the Zero Puppet moved from one shop to another, gathering information. If no conversations about the mission topic were found, it chose to leave.

When it is leaving one shop. The puppet discovered magical signatures in a nearby narrow alleyway. Aside from the residential building, there were no shops in that area.

The Zero Puppet immediately rushes to assess the situation. It did not make any emotional mistakes like humans. It adheres to its established program.

First, it finds a secluded location to observe the Wizards' magic signature level. If they are discovered to be Peak Wizards, it will not approach them.

At the time, a few unknown figures were walking down the street, which had little illumination. Their Magic levels are shown as level-6.

The Zero Puppet immediately confirmed their magic signatures before beginning to follow them. These unidentified high-level wizards traveled to a remote area with the least population.

Only the city's poorest natives live here. Many of the buildings are in poor condition. If someone from another country saw this place, they would be surprised.

This urban poor area does not appear to be a living area for people from the capital. Because of historical reasons, the City Lord did not force them to depart.

The people who lived here had nowhere to go. The majority of them are lower-level wizards. Some people were fortunate enough to become Mid Level Wizards. But that is it.

It is not comparable to other major forces. But it is sufficient for their survival. Many low-level wizards from this area work in low-cost restaurants.

Because it is a neglected part of the city. It also became a place for criminal activity. The majority of them are petty crimes. However, this is unknown to the people who live here.

The Dark League members have hidden places here. It is an ideal location for their operations. However, in the event of an emergency, they frequently relocate their hideout.

These unknown figures are currently walking into this poor area. When the people who live here saw their faces, they went into hiding. They are aware that meeting strangers in this area is not ideal. The majority of them are crime-related.

After checking the perimeters, these unknown figures went underground to hide. The Zero Puppet was close by. But they could not detect it. Because it is an advanced golem with a magical cloak to conceal its presence.

The Zero Puppet moves forward with ease, avoiding all of those traps. It arrived at the underground hideout in a blink of an eye. With its superior hearing abilities.

It could hear what was going on in the basement. At night, no one can see the figure lying flat on the ground on top of the basement door.

In the basement, the unknown figures begin to speak openly.

"Damn, we can not spend the night here. We had to stay awake all night to find the target."

"Harumph!"

"Which target?"

"I doubt someone tricked our superiors in the dark league."

"While the other two forces are actively doing their jobs in daylight. We were forced to work night shifts."

The Dark League Wizards communicated with one another. They were fed up with their superiors' orders. They are now voicing their grievances with their colleagues.

"The Weapon Palace and Royal Force Hall Wizards can easily locate the target, Vincent Carey. But they are just wasting time."

"I suppose they are afraid of the Yellow River Academy."

"There is a rumor that the Magic Lord is behind the target."

"I hope our superiors let us leave before anything serious happens."

"Do not worry. The other two academies will not remain silent. Otherwise, they will not perform the same task as well."

The dark league wizards communicated with one another without realizing that someone was listening in.

The Zero Puppet's eyes flickered whenever the name Vincent Carey came up in their conversation. The Zero Puppet was able to gather more important information than those conversations in shops.

The Dark League Wizards' conversations are unfiltered. They are making disparaging remarks about everyone. Giving out information simultaneously.

An hour later,

The Dark League Wizards' break had ended. They were summoned by their superiors to inspect another location.

The Zero Puppet immediately moved away from the location. It received the information that it needed. Then it begins to move towards the Blue Merchant Company.

As the puppet was leaving the urban poor area, it noticed another dangerous mana signature approaching this location. The Zero Puppet felt threatened by the mana signature.

It was off the charts. So much so that it cannot translate the readings into Magic Levels. The reading level is not included in the program.

It was many times more powerful than those Dark League high level Wizards. The Zero Puppet then vanishes from the scene and begins moving in a different direction.

Shortly afterward,

A Wizard in an overcoat and pointy hat appeared above this location.

"Strange!"

"Had those rats already begun their patrols?" After muttering, he turned to face the Dark League Hideouts.

Nobody can see his face because he is wearing a mask. But there are sharp daggers concealed beneath his sleeves.

He vanished from the scene after a moment of reflection.

After 20 minutes,

The Zero Puppet has returned to the blue merchant company. No guards were able to spot it.After entering the store room, the puppet discovered the master standing in front of it.

"How did it go?" I asked.

My eyes showed a hint of anticipation. This was the major task I assigned to the Zero Puppet after leaving the purple city.
