Chapter 384 Ascended Cultivator, Suppressed!
Just the shockwave from the punch was enough to crumble the walls of Blue Moon City. William was knocked backwards a hundred meters and had to use the Wind Element to catch himself. His body was bloodied in an instant, but the Recovery Talent kicked in and restored the damage before it could become serious.
You can fuse Domains into your body like that? Why haven't any of my other enemies with Domains used this method? he couldn't believe his eyes.
-The process is more complicated than it looks. Without a strong enough body or an Ascended Aura, Domain Integration is impossible.
Domain Integration?
-What that Juhi is doing. Fusion is when you meld the effects of the Domains together and use them as if they are a singular Domain, while Integration is simply combining them in mass and merging the Mana with the cells of your body. If your cells aren't resilient enough, they won't be able to handle the incoming mass of Mana.
William understood now why the System said Integration was impossible normally. Juhi didn't seem to be a Body Cultivator, so it was likely the Ascended Aura assisting him.
It must be that golden aura of his. Even my Seal Territory probably can't break through that defense easily. William realized as he inspected Juhi's body. After hearing the System's explanation, it was easier for William to notice the functions of the golden aura.
It wasn't a simple glow that one might see when illuminated by the sunlight, rather a veil that came from within Juhi's own body. It was as if his cells were the source of the glow, not his ambient Spirit Aura.
At the same time, William could see tiny specks of green, red, and all the other colors of Juhi's Domains that indicated slight disturbances in his aura. Even though he was an Ascended Cultivator, Juhi still couldn't properly control the enhancement of his Fused Domains.
William smiled and released a large portion of the restrictions surrounding his physical strength, matching Juhi's power while opening an Ascension Portal of his own. Using the X-Rank Gravity Element to suppress the portal, William collided midair and exchanged punches with Juhi.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Both Cultivators were thrown backwards time and time again, neither with an advantage over the other. William took advantage of Juhi's surprise to sneak in a few blows and damage the golden spirit aura, while Juhi himself looked downtrodden.
William's Attack Reflection Talent seemed to have no effect as Juhi didn't suffer any recoil damage, but Juhi couldn't believe that a mere mortal could keep up with his strength and speed. The fabric of the World was ripped to shreds by their battle, creating massive spatial fissures that would pull in any random Cultivator that came too close.
Even Tribulation Transcendence Cultivators wouldn't be exempt if they weren't careful, so the spectators made sure to keep a considerable distance from the fight. At the same time, William controlled the direction of the fight to stay away from Blue Moon City so Atticus could recover properly.
Even William couldn't protect the city while engaged in such a high stakes battle.
Juhi became more and more flustered as William wasted his precious descent time, switching to a more aggressive offense and compressing the Elements onto his fist as he threw a massive punch. William's Forcefield shattered and reformed multiple times under the effects of the single punch, but as a result, Juhi's golden aura began to fade away.
At the end of Juhi's last punch that targeted William's head, his golden aura was completely gone, finally triggering the Attack Reflection Talent. Juhi's neck suddenly snapped backwards at an awkward angle, the sound of broken bones following suit.

William took advantage of the Ascended Cultivator's surprise to finally catch the man with the Sealing Territory, reducing the efficiency of Juhi's movements by over fifty percent. With the support of a dozen Tier 6 Confinement Arrays, that number was increased to seventy percent.
Ice began to crawl up Juhi's body and thick tree roots wrapped around Juhi's legs as William called various Elements to continue suppressing the Cultivator. He channeled Water Magic to encase the man in a dome that would slowly drown Juhi, then followed up with Death Magic that drained away Juhi's life force bit by bit.
With this, Juhi was completely suppressed without a chance to escape. He shook his body left and right to break free from William's restrictions, but more Ice and roots formed, replacing what was lost in an instant. Even when his golden aura started reforming, it wasn't enough to defend him from William's suppression.
"N-No!" Juhi shouted in fear as the Death Element started to sap away his life force, slowly turning his hair grey while wrinkles formed on his cheeks and forehead.
William continued channeling the Death Element until Juhi had become a wizened old man with almost hollow cheeks.
"You can't do this to me! I've lived almost ten thousand years, and I don't plan to die like this!" Juhi shouted as he activated a Protective Artifact that served as his necklace. The Ascension Portal that was previously suppressed started working again, pulling Juhi into the sky at high speed.
"Oh no you don't." William said as he activated the Territory of Gravity, reversing the gravity around Juhi and forcing the man to slam into the ground. William channeled more Ice Mana to completely cover the man's body, allowing him to sap at Juhi's life force until his winkled skin became like paper.
At this point, Juhi's golden aura couldn't reform anymore, unable to protect the husk that looked like he could die with a single gust of wind.
William opened up the Domain of Time, halting the movements of everything within close proximity to him and Juhi. Before the old man could register what had happened, William teleported in front of him and sliced off an arm with the Abyssal Weapon Shifter.
System, how much time does he have left before he is sent back up to the higher Realms? William asked.
-About fifteen minutes.
Perfect. William revealed a sinister smile as he chopped off Juhi's other arm.
Even with the enhancement of the six Domains, Juhi's defensive power didn't seem able to block William's Abyssal Weapon Shifter, likely because the density of the man's cells hadn't changed in the same way that the Hard Skin Talent used to modify William's body.
Juhi gritted his teeth in pain as both arms started to bleed out, but William wasn't satisfied. He noticed with Spirit Vision Mode that Juhi's Soul Strength wasn't impressive, so he channeled Dream Mana to force Juhi into a terrifying nightmare, filled with all of the most horrifying beings William could think of.
Juhi imagined himself being eaten time and time again by massive horned demons with razor sharp teeth, starting with a certain sensitive body part. He felt the sensation of his brain being removed from his head and drank like a soup, and helplessness overwhelmed him as the cycle repeated itself for what seemed to be a thousand years.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
That wasn't an exaggeration, since the Dream Element could turn a few seconds into a dream lasting an entire year. With the support of the Time Element, William could extend that to last a lifetime.
After setting the events to repeat over and over, William added his own voice to the nightmare. An endlessly looped message that would haunt Juhi for the remainder of his thousand-year dream.
"Your ignorance has led to this moment. Admit your wrongdoing and I will let you go." William's words echoed throughout the nightmare.
Juhi resisted and fought against the nightmare for an entire year before eventually giving in to William's demands. "I was wrong! Let me go! I won't bother you ever again!"
But William didn't respond.
"Please!" Juhi cried out. "I'll give you anything! Spirit Stones, Cultivation Techniques, Priceless Artifacts. Anything you want!"
But William still didn't respond. His last message was only meant to give Juhi hope that he would be released, but William had no intentions of letting the old man go. Even if William's loot goblin tendencies made him want to accept Juhi's requests, William had already snatched the old man's Space Rings while he was in the dream.
To expect anything else from Juhi would be an idiotic mistake. What kind of Cultivator would return to their captor to deliver goods? William knew he wouldn't.
-Juhi's time is running short. He has five minutes before the Heavens automatically forces his body back to the Ascended Realms.
Will the Heavens even be able to bypass all of my suppression? I've even suppressed my own Ascension Portal, how can this not work?
-Yes. The Heavens won't tolerate allowing someone to descend past the allotted time. And killing him won't have any greater effect than you've had now, this isn't his real body. It's only an incarnation that shares the thoughts and emotions of the true body in real time.
Shit, it's not even truly him? I want to kill this guy so bad! William racked his brain for ideas.
