“Silly girl, you can go shopping with Xiaomeng or hang out, don’t just stay at home. Or you could come to the company with me,” Gu Shaoting suggested.

“No, you have to work, you often have meetings, see company executives, meet clients, and what would it look like for me to be by your side?” Shu Pan said.

“How about I arrange a lighter job for you at the company?” Gu Shaoting thought for a moment, then suggested.

“I want to find a job on my own, at a different company,” Shu Pan insisted stubbornly, her resolved attitude seemed unstoppable even by ten oxen.

Indeed, Gu Shaoting frowned slightly, “Let’s discuss this issue again tonight when we return.”

Having said that, Gu Shaoting stood up, wiped his mouth with a napkin, and then left without looking back, his briefcase in hand.
