Chapter 59 Scaring the terrorists
Duke had everything in life, a loving family, a girlfriend, and even friends. However, he still wanted more.
'I wasn't satisfied.'
When there was an announcement of a game coming out from G. CO he just had to buy the game. He told his friends to join him and together they began clearing the flame world level-up mode.
'And it was my dissatisfaction...'

When they were about to arrive at the final boss room he saw a young man entering it already. He tried to call the boy to stop but he won't listen.
'...that brought horrors into my life.'
After a while, after the boy entered the world suddenly paused and Duke was back to his territory. When he checked his status it was already reset and he had to start from scratch.
'I regret playing the game.'
The next day after that his territory was swarmed by a large pack of monster wolves. If he hadn't leveled up the previous day he would've been dead, and if he stayed, he would still be dead... so... he ran away, abandoned his territory to look for others.
'And if I had the chance...'
Duke survived a lot of days in the forest, killing monsters and leveling up, saving life stones for his last days as he knew that the highest level was level 100. Everyone was bound to die anyway.
'...I would've listened to my parents.'
He remembered when he was about to enter a university and his mom and dad called him to advise him. "Son, you're about to become a man. The course you should study will be medicine."
'Of course, back then I didn't listen to them.'
"I want to be a game maker." He said back then and my mom supported me with the saying. "When passion becomes Profession, profession will be easy."
'I should have studied medicine. I would've never had the time for games.'
Duke graduated from a prestigious university with a first-class degree. He was now working for the second-biggest company in the world. He decided to try the game that G. CO was about to release to know how good they were.
'I just wanted to know how good the game was. And where did that take me?'
He could only strive for life stones as he scoured the jungle, killing every creature the light touched.
'To hell.'
And now he will enjoy this superstar with his friends. His last days must be perfect.
He waved his pinkie, signaling his guys to charge forward and beat the shit out of Xander with a smile on his face.
That would be his biggest mistake.
...
Xander looked at the men coming towards him. He didn't even move and just waved his hand.
Two circles appeared in mid-air. Red chains shot out of the circles and passed the side of the small army. Xander then clenched his fist hard and the chains spun around.
"What's this? Ahhhh!" The men screamed as they were forced together by the red chain.
The leader stared at Xander in utter disbelief as his team was wrapped like a bundle of broomsticks without any effort at all.
"I haven't seen any class like that," he mumbled. 'But I am already at level 47, there's no way he could beat me.'
Duke clutched his crowbar and ran behind Xander. He smiled, 'He wouldn't even be able to follow my movements.'
To his horror, Xander's crystal-like red eyes were staring straight at him with coldness. Chains came out from the floor and tied up the leader and he fell to the floor.
"Arhh! Let me go you bastard!" Duke shouted as he wiggled, trying to break the chains but they were extremely durable.
He looked forward and saw Xander walking towards him with a smile on his face.
'That smile...'
For some reason that smile looked familiar but he couldn't quite remember where he saw something like that.
"Now. Who–"
Xander's words were cut short as the men that he tied up together were trying to get themselves free.
His red eyes shone brightly and a red flame started to burn in front of the bundled-up men. They all looked at the flames with wide eyes as they hadn't seen anything like it before.
An inhuman hand suddenly came out of the flames and the men tried to move and run away even more.
From the flames, emerged an otherworldly creature of poison and fire. The Dandilion emerged from the red Primordial flames, towering over the bunch of humans.
It was seven feet tall. Its hideous face was like a beautiful nightmare. Its horns, fangs and it's golden eyes made it look dangerous.
'Roar at them.' Xander communicated telepathically.
Not just Xander was watching it. Duke was watching in horror while Luna was frightened by the creature.
"Calm down. He was a summoner in the game. As much as his summons are scary and deadly, they are also extremely loyal." Hannah said while nodding proudly.
Luna didn't calm down at all, in fact, she became more scared as the monster moved toward the group of tied-up people.
"He's not gonna kill them, will he?" Luna stared at the scene with wide eyes. Her heart was beating against her chest so hard that she could hear it.
"They deserve it. If you knew what they wanted to achieve, you would let them suffer also." Hannah said coldly.
Even as a mage, her stats were quite high so she could hear every single thing that that leader said.
"What did they want?" Luna asked, wanting to know why her sister would want them dead.
Hannah looked at her sister. She couldn't keep anything from Luna as their curiosity ran in their blood.
"They– they wanted to kidnap you and do a gangbang."
Luna gasped in shock.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Can you imagine? They are more than twenty and they could think that you could die." Hannah said, trying to make her sister ease up on being the gentle, kind type.
"They should die."
Hannah smiled as she just imagined her sister saying something.
"Sorry. It was in my imagination. What did you say again?" She looked at Luna and her smile disappeared as she saw Luna with a cold expression on her face.
"I said 'They should die."
There wasn't an atom of kindness in those words and Hannah smiled as she achieved something.
What do you think?
