"Hi everyone, buckle in because this will be a long update. But there will be some free chapters in it for you.

But I'll get to that and the poll toward the bottom, first, some housekeeping.

So a few weeks ago I made an Update about considering changes to Pa-treon, and now I'm putting them in place.

As of right now (January 5th), billing has been paused which means current patrons won't be charged again until 30 days have passed (February 5th)

New members will have to pay the initial fee and won't have to pay again until 30 days after they join, but the important things are the changes I want to make to the lower tiers.

I want to remove the 5 and 10-chapter tiers because I genuinely don't believe I can consistently deliver on the promises made. My writing is getting better, especially since this year, I'm making an extreme effort to increase the quality.

This includes me buying some software for editing etc, which has been awesome. All to get my first original book written this year, at least the first draft.

Because of that sometimes my writing speed won't be consistent which is why it would feel dishonest to promise 5 or 10 chapters ahead.

5 I can pretty easily manage but the stress of another deadline just isn't helpful, so I rather just focus only on writing and less on business stuff which is what the Unlimited Tier is all for.

I just get to write and write and write and write and not think about other things.

So as of Friday, January 10th, the Standard and Advanced Tiers will stop getting uploads, but until then everyone will get treated as if they're in the Unlimited Tier regarding access to uploaded chapters.

And if this change is a dealbreaker to you like I expect it to be. Complete transparency here, I'm expecting over half of my Patrons to leave because of this, but having less stress and more brainpower to write should be worth it.

Things can always change in the future, however, so we'll see how things go.

Anyway, now that the big changes are out of the way. Here is the summary of my 2025 plans.
