Chapter 171 Five gods-3

But that wasn't a bother.

If the gatekeeper died then he died, nothing more.

And soon enough, he entered into a dark lair as if it was some boss room in games.

Even the air here wasn't moving.

And Xian Tian could see large statues of five so-called gods.

Looking at them, it seems there wasn't any problem.

However, Xian Tian could feel the energy of Lady Xing within that middle statue that had four hands and six eyes.

"it seems they are alive statues... I can feel strong vitality within them..."

Saying that, purple Qi began to surge in his hands.

Swoosh!

With a swift movement, he launched the Qi and instantly destroyed the middle statue.

However, to his shock, the destroyed statue started to regenerate into perfect condition.

Nodding his Xian Tian understood it wasn't easy to destroy them.

"It seems some mortal has dared to come here... Ah, haha, such strong aura..." the statue at far left said who possessed 6 hands and each hand holding some musical instrument.

And the very next moment, melodious music began to vibrate into the room.

Xian Tian backflipped and instantly dodged a space vertex that appeared where he was standing.

"I see... Musical Dao," Xian Tian uttered while he finally understood the senior Dragon's word.

These were powerful entities who followed other paths just like Lady Fuyu and that assassin but they were someone who once held Senic orb.

Tingggg!!! Tinggggg!

The statue began to play the sitar, attacking Xian Tian with musical instrument.

Xian Tian's eyes narrowed as he dodged another spatial rift created by the musical vibrations.

Each note struck the air with deadly precision, sending waves of destructive force rippling toward him.

The sitar's haunting melody seemed to echo directly in his mind, threatening to disrupt his focus.

"You think playing some strings will stop me?" Xian Tian smirked, white and black energy swirling around him like twin serpents forming the classic Yin-Yang logo.

"Let me show you how I deal with pests like you,"

Xian Tian planted his feet firmly, his hands forming complex seals.

The Yin-Yang origin source ignited within him, creating a shimmering barrier of golden and purple light.

Woooshhhh!!!

Spark! Spark!

The next note collided with his shield, sending sparks flying, but the melody failed to penetrate.

"Not bad," Xian Tian said, his voice echoing with a taunting edge.

"But music can't win against raw power,"

He flicked his fingers, unleashing an arc of golden light toward the statue.

The beam split into countless smaller streams mid-air, zigzagging unpredictably.

The statue's six hands blurred as it played a rapid crescendo, forming an invisible barrier that deflected most of the attack.

The remaining arcs struck its arms, chipping the stone surface and revealing a pulsating crimson energy beneath.

"So, you are not just stone," Xian Tian muttered.

The statue's melody shifted as if it was angry, each note now reverberating with a deafening intensity with dark aura.

The air around Xian Tian thickened, making it hard to breathe.

Xian Tian gritted his teeth, his reality domain activating.

The oppressive soundwaves bent and warped around him, harmlessly dissipating into fragments of light.

"My turn," he said, snapping his fingers.

Countless black lotuses bloomed in the air, each one pulsating with destructive energy.

With a flick of his wrist, the lotuses shot forward like meteors, homing in on the statue.

The statue responded to this flashy attack with a rapid, discordant melody, its six arms moving so fast they blurred.

Baaam! Balaam!

Bloom!!!

The lotuses collided with invisible barriers, exploding in bursts of black and gold light that shook the entire lair.

Xian Tian smirked as dust filled the room, obscuring everything. "You think I attack blindly? Amateur mistake,"

It seems the God has some skill issue.

Suddenly, a purple blade shot out from the smoke, cutting through the statue's lower left arm. The blade wasn't aimed at random; it followed the rhythm of the music, exploiting a gap in the statue's defense.

Thud!!!

The arm fell to the ground, shattering into stone fragments, and the music faltered for a brief moment.

"Missed a note," Xian Tian mocked, appearing behind the statue in a flash of golden light.

His sword gleamed as he struck at its back with an overhead slash.

Before his blade could connect, another statue to the right, one with eight spider-like legs and a horned helmet, moved. Its eyes glowed crimson, and black threads shot out, intercepting Xian Tian's attack.

Swoosh!

Fooooo-

The threads coiled around his sword, pulling him toward the second statue with terrifying speed.

"Tch," Xian Tian growled, releasing the sword and backflipping mid-air.

He landed gracefully, while Patting and cleaning the dust.

"So you want to gang up on me now?" he sneered.

"Fine. More statues, more fun."

The spider-like statue unleashed a barrage of web-like threads, each one glowing with malevolent energy.

Xian Tian dodged effortlessly, weaving through the onslaught like a shadow.

Xian Tian spread his arms wide, and the air around him shimmered as his Yin-Yang origin source fully activated.

The room seemed to split in two, one half bathed in radiant gold, the other in oppressive darkness.

The statues' movements slowed as though they were wading through molasses.

"Welcome to my domain," Xian Tian said, his voice echoing with an otherworldly resonance.

He snapped his fingers again, and the golden half of the room erupted in beams of light, striking the musical statue.

Simultaneously, the dark half released shadowy tendrils that lashed at the spider statue, pulling it off balance.

The musical statue's sitar shattered under the relentless barrage, and its body began to crack.

The spider statue roared, its threads severed by the shadowy tendrils.

Xian Tian appeared above it, his golden blade glowing as he descended with a powerful strike.

The two statues tried to resist, their energies flaring as they combined their powers.

A wall of music notes and threads surged toward Xian Tian, but he smirked.

"Too late."

In one swift motion, he channeled all his energy into his blade, creating a massive arc of golden and black energy that tore through the combined attack.

The arc struck both statues simultaneously, reducing them to rubble.

The lair fell silent, the oppressive energy dissipating as the statues crumbled.

Xian Tian exhaled, his domain retracting.

He glanced at the middle statue, still intact but slightly weakened.

"Two down," he muttered, gripping his sword tightly. "Who's next?"

However, Xian Tian's arrogant nature didn't last long.

The destroyed statue began to regenerate to perfection.

As long as they are inside here, they will regenerate endlessly. First, you need to destroy this place to kill them, however, once you destroy the place, you will also release them and they will regain half of their original power.

The Dragon's voice rang inside Xian Tian's mind.

Xian Tian looked around the corners and saw multiple runes, all over the walls.

"I see... To save Lady Xing, I need to release them and kill them..." Xian Tian muttered under his breath.

Xian Tian's eyes gleamed with cold light.

"So, that's your trick," he muttered, his voice laced with disdain.

"Infinite regeneration tied to this cursed place. Clever, but not clever enough,"

The middle statue, seemingly amused by his observation, finally spoke.

"You have chosen the path of destruction, little Daoist,"

It rumbled, its six eyes flaring with crimson light. "But can you truly handle the wrath of gods?"

The room trembled as all five statues began to hum in unison, their combined energy resonating through the lair.

The oppressive force returned tenfold, threatening to crush Xian Tian where he stood.

Xian Tian ignored the weight pressing down on him, focusing instead on the glowing runes.

His eyes traced the intricate patterns, quickly deciphering their purpose.

"A formation that seals their full power while feeding them endless vitality," he mused, his tone almost bored yet confused.

He didn't knew such rune patterns existed.

"If I disrupt this, their true strength will return, but that only means I get to fight them at their peak."

He smirked. "And I do love a good challenge..."

Raising his hand, he summoned a black lotus in his palm. Its petals unfurled, revealing a core of pure destructive energy.

"Let's see how your precious runes handle this."

...

Before Xian Tian could hurl the lotus, the remaining three statues sprang to life.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

The far-right statue, an imposing figure wielding a colossal hammer, stomped forward.

The ground cracked under its weight, and with a mighty swing, it sent a shockwave barreling toward Xian Tian.

The fourth statue, a slender figure with wings of flame, launched a barrage of fiery projectiles from above, each one exploding into searing heat upon impact.

It was like star fall but of flames.

The final statue, a serpentine figure coiled in the shadows, hissed as tendrils of darkness snaked toward Xian Tian, aiming to immobilize him.

...

"Three against one?" Xian Tian chuckled, leaping into the air to dodge the shockwave.

"That hardly seems fair... for you."

He spread his arms, and his domain surged outward once more.

Golden chains erupted from the radiant side, intercepting the hammer's shockwave and wrapping around the fiery projectiles, neutralizing their energy.
