The meat was distributed
“Well, that just shows that you’ve been welcomed into the village. And you were even able to show off in front of Delia.”

I had not done that to impress her, but there was no point in explaining that to him now.
Though, it might have been a more tense situation if Claire was here.
“Here you go.”
“Ah, thank you!”
“Please take this.”
“Excuse me. Oh, I’ll be able to live off of this for some time.”

After I greeted everyone present, they started to distribute the meat of the Audhumbla between the villagers.
The different parts were wrapped up in cloth and handed over. And as always, the old men and women seemed to be arguing.

So the plan was for everyone to eat it tonight in the plaza.
