Chapter 441 Sentinel of Dawn Kingdom
[Dear Reader,
I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this note and share your thoughts with me. Your feedback and support mean a great deal, and I value each and every one of you who has stuck with this story.
It's been a year since I started this novel, and I have poured my heart and soul into this novel. It's my first story, and it's truly my first love. I recognize that there have been shortcomings, especially in the beginning, but I believe my writing has evolved significantly over time. This growth has been a journey, and I am grateful for the lessons and improvements it has brought.
Recently, I have been contemplating whether to continue this story as it is or to rewrite it anew.... I am not considering discontinuing it or putting it on hiatus, as the story holds a special place in my heart.
However, I have noticed a decline in daily views, from 3-4k to now only 1-1.5k. This change has made me question if a fresh start might be beneficial.
If you prefer a new story, rest assured it will not follow the same plot but will feature the same characters and world settings. I am excited about the potential for new adventures and growth with these beloved characters.
However, if you prefer to continue with the current story, I am equally happy to do so.... but, You know... It can feel quite lonely when there is little response or engagement, but I am hopeful that this message will spark a conversation.
Truly lonely 🥹
Most of all, I know many left after the controversial 'R*pe' (Actually not) part involving his first wife, despite my explanations.
So, here I am... Hope you answer me properly]

"Wow!" Asher Eli mumbled in surprise when he saw a humongous golden door embedded in the floor before him. The door was not just enormous; it was a breathtaking spectacle.
Adorned with elaborate patterns resembling feathered wings, Eli couldn't help but wonder about their significance. These designs were so detailed and lifelike that they seemed almost ready to take flight. Then, a memory from Garuda flickered in his mind, recalling beings with golden wings soaring gracefully through the sky.
"What's their name?" Eli asked, his face brimming with curiosity.
"...." The distorted figure sitting on the throne muttered in a low, gravelly voice, "The Angels."
"Angels... what exactly are those?" Eli's curiosity intensified with each passing moment. He reached out tentatively to touch the surface of the door, hoping to feel something profound and mystical, much like he had with the door in the world tree... But to his disappointment, he felt nothing!
Yes, there was nothing more than the cold, unyielding surface beneath his fingertips.
"They are the messengers of God," the distorted figure said in a sombre, almost reverent tone.
"..." Eli frowned, his gaze fixed on the distorted figure, seeking answers. "What is God? No, who is God?" he asked.
"...." The distorted figure wore a look of exasperation and sighed deeply. "Why are you even coming to me with these questions?" it asked, frustration evident in its tone.
"... Pardon?"
"Sigh, there are other Sentinels, right?" The figure asked, its expression growing more annoyed with each word.
"Yes," Eli confirmed, nodding slowly.
"Then why don't you go and ask them?" There was a clear hint of displeasure in its voice. It continued, "I believe the Sentinel of the Theos Kingdom was responsible for releasing the god. Why don't you go and nag him instead?!"
"Well..." Eli pondered aloud, his mind racing. He hadn't yet sought out the others, so why not? It seemed like a perfect plan. 'A perfect idea!' he thought to himself, a mischievous glint in his eye.
The Sentinel, thinking she was successfully pushing him away, had unwittingly given him an idea that would likely lead to him bothering the other Sentinels, much to their future dismay.
Still,
"Because your kingdom's king is quite nagging compared to others. That's why I prefer to visit here first," Eli said with a mischievous smile, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"... Sigh," the Sentinel sighed heavily, her shoulders slumping in resignation. "If you've seen what you wanted, why don't you leave?"
Instead, Eli inquired, "So behind this door lies the realm of gods?"
"..." The Sentinel frowned, noticing Eli wasn't heeding her words. But what else could she do? As long as Eli didn't engage in anything too extreme, she was content. "Yes, but it's not the realm of gods as you might think," she clarified.
"Hmm?" Eli tilted his head, curiosity piqued, urging her to elaborate.
"The realm of gods has already fallen. What remains is a realm inhabited only by fallen... dead gods," she explained, her voice tinged with sorrow and regret.
"Fallen dead gods... you mean like the people in the Fallen Continent?" Eli asked, frowning deeply, trying to grasp the full extent of her words.
"Yeah... more or less," the Sentinel answered evasively, unwilling to delve deeper into the tragic history.
"..." Eli frowned at her haughty demeanour, He sighed, he needed to deal with her first and asked, "I heard you are a woman?"
"... Yes, and what of it?" The Sentinel frowned, puzzled by the abrupt change in subject, her curiosity now mirroring Eli's.
"Hmm, I am wondering... just thinking, why are you hiding yourself with this fluctuating mana?" Eli asked, his eyes alight with childlike curiosity, seeking to understand her predicament.
"Heh..." The Sentinel let out a haughty laugh, the sound echoing eerily in the vast chamber. "Because I am a powerful entity that needs to seal my power; otherwise, the castle would crumble under my mere presence," she declared proudly.
"Oh!" Eli exclaimed, genuinely surprised by her revelation. With a curious look, he walked towards her and stared deeply into the distorted figure, trying to discern the truth.
"W-What?" she stammered, taken aback by his intense gaze.
"Nothing, just wondering whether I could touch you or not," Eli pondered aloud, looking at her intently. If she was talking about sealed power, why wasn't she the same as Lilith, who was far stronger yet moved freely?
"Then why is Lilith able to walk freely while you sit here all the time?" Eli asked, his curiosity driving him to seek answers.
The Sentinel snorted derisively, "Though I am stronger, I am not a real god. Unlike Lilith, I am merely a human caught up in their shit game!" she explained, her tone bitter and resigned.
"Hmmm," Eli nodded thoughtfully, absorbing her words and waiting for her to continue.
"I... no, We Sentinels are not powerful enough to leave the Doors. We are tasked with guarding them; that's the sacred duty given by Mana itself. So, we remain here, waiting for our descendants to take over our responsibilities as Sentinels," she elaborated, her voice carrying the weight of centuries of duty and sacrifice.
"I see..." Eli nodded slowly, his hand inching towards the Sentinel's distorted face, driven by an inexplicable urge.
"What are you doing?" she asked with a frown, suspicion and curiosity mingling in her gaze.
"I want to see you," Eli said bluntly, his words simple yet profound.
"..." The Sentinel frowned at Eli's straightforwardness. She couldn't help but ask, "Is this how you tamed that woman?"
"Heh... No, she fell for me!" Eli said with confident bravado, a cocky grin spreading across his face.
"Snort," the Sentinel snorted, sceptical and disbelieving. She couldn't fathom that woman ever falling for Eli. He must have used some trickery!
She believed that firmly and unshakably.
Seeing her scepticism, Eli smiled and asked, "Could I touch you?"
"..." The Sentinel paused, contemplating his request. Then she warned, "If you touch this dense mana, your hand might disintegrate into particles, and even healing magic might not suffice."
Eli grinned, "I am very touched that you worry about me."
"Tsk," the Sentinel clicked her tongue and shrugged dismissively. She had warned him, and if Lilith came to complain, she could simply point out that Eli had insisted despite her warning.
Seeing her relent, Eli smiled and slowly reached out to touch the distorted mana, his heart pounding with anticipation.
"Arh!" Eli groaned slightly as his hand made contact. However, his pupils suddenly flickered pink, and he closed his eyes, trying to absorb the abundant mana. Sensing danger, the dense mana abruptly stopped harming Eli, as if recognizing his intent.
Then he moved his hand an inch closer and finally touched something soft and unexpected.
"HII!!"
Hearing the startled voice, Eli opened his eyes.... only to see a cute little girl looking at him with a flushed face, her eyes wide with surprise.
"What?"
