Chapter 2011: True Reason Behind Twilight's Obedience



Time passed as the Divine Body Cultivators took care of the incoming Spirit Beast Hordes for six hours.

Each round of Spirit Beast Horde lasted for an hour and six hours, they took care of six rounds

where the Spirit Beasts in the horde were as powerful as an average High-level Emperor Realm Cultivator.

Nevertheless, the Divine Body Cultivators with their low-level Divine Emperor Realm Cultivation still took care of them, albeit with a lot of struggle.

"Looks like they have reached their limit."

Looking at the Divine Body Cultivators, who got a couple of minutes to rest before the seventh round of the spirit beast horde began, Ajax said.

"Shall we bet that they will last for another two rounds?"

Hearing Ajax's words, Aron suggested a bet with a smile.

"What? Two more rounds?"

Ajax was surprised by Aron's confidence in the Divine Body Cultivators.

If it was one more round, Ajax believed that the Divine Body Cultivators might struggle but could still take care of it.

However, taking two more rounds of Spirit Beast Hordes where the Spirit Beasts would only become more powerful with each round, Ajax doubted it.

"Sure"

Nevertheless, Ajax didn't think much as he agreed.

Even if he lost it, Ajax didn't mind it as it would only become advantageous for him to have such powerful Divine Body Cultivators under him.

Moreover, he would lose to his father and not some stranger.

"What do we bet?"

After agreeing to Aron's bet, Ajax asked about the stakes.

"Forget it, I was just joking."

Aron laughed out loud as he said, "Just witness the strength of your Divine Body Cultivators."

Ajax remained speechless as he shook his head with a slight smile and continued to watch.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, three more hours passed by and so were the three rounds of Spirit Beast Hordes.

'T-this....'

Not only Ajax but even Aron was shocked to see that the Divine Body Cultivators were able to take care of not just two rounds but three rounds of Spirit Beast Hordes.

"By becoming the Divine Body Cultivators, their battle prowess and cultivation techniques increased more than I expected."

Aron thought he had correctly estimated the battle prowess of the Divine Body Cultivators; however, his estimation still fell short.

"Master, we can't fight anymore."

The leader of the 100 Divine Body Cultivators hurriedly informed Ajax during the small break between the two rounds of the Spirit Beast Horde.

"You have done much better than I expected. You can take a rest now."

Ajax praised them for surprising him with their unique battle formation techniques and asked them to take a rest.

Originally, when Ajax entered the Divine Inner World, he thought that it would be great if the Divine Body Cultivator could take care of at least three rounds of Spirit Beast Hordes.

However, they took care of nine rounds of Spirit Beast Hordes, which was three times more than his estimation, making him greatly satisfied with their performance.

"When we return to the Five Elemental Spirit World, I will give a good reward for your performance."

Ajax promised rewards, making the Divine Body Cultivators excited.

They didn't try to be modest with their master as they had already lived for thousands of years and knew exactly how to repay Ajax's kindness -It was by becoming stronger.

Aron didn't mind the changes and he felt the new changes were better after witnessing the battle prowess of the 100 Divine Body Cultivators.

"I want to go next."

It was Twilight, who was currently in his human form, raised his hand.

"No."

However, Ajax directly rejected Twilight by saying, "You still need to learn your self-control and the current environment is perfect for you."

Since Ajax was already training Twilight on his Self Control, he didn't want Twilight to join the battle.

'Most importantly, if Twilight joins the battle now, others won't get the chance to show their battle prowess.'

However, the main reason Ajax rejected Twilight was because he wanted to see how strong his

summons were.

Once Twilight enters the battle, he gets the boost by killing the incoming Spirit Beast Hordes and he will only get more powerful as time passes.

By the time Twilight gets weakened, the Celestial Pillars of other participants might be destroyed and his other summons won't get the chance to fight anymore.

"Okay."

Twilight was a little disappointed despite expecting Ajax's reply; however, he was obedient as he didn't want to get sealed inside the Divine Inner World.

That's right!

The reason why Twilight is obedient and focuses on self-control is not because it loves Ajax

to death; instead, it is afraid of Ajax's method of punishment.

With a thought from Ajax, it would be sent to the Divine Inner World where it can't fight

anymore.

At least by being obedient, it could stay in the outside world and witness the battles and might get a chance to join them soon.

"I want to join."

"I can fight too."

Once Twilight was rejected, the other contracted spirit beasts started raising their hands to

join the battle.

"How about the Devourer Eagle Army taking care of the next rounds of Spirit Beast Hordes along with Little White and Little Gold?"

After taking a look at the Contracted Spirit Beasts that raised their hands, Ajax picked 11 Devourer Eagles along with two re-cultivated spirit beasts.

The Little White and Little Gold were none other than the young Golden Armoured Bear and

the young Snow Lion.

All the spirit beasts under Ajax not only got high-level cultivation resources but also went through so many battles, gaining good battle experience.

These two little beast cubs have already reached adulthood and become Emperor Realm Beasts that awakened Divine Rules.

Thus, Ajax believed that these two beasts along with 11 Devourer Eagle Emperors, more rounds of Spirit Beast Hordes could be taken care of.
