Chapter 81 Chapter 63: Thunderbolt Means
81 Chapter 63: Thunderbolt Means
Listening to Yan Fei's two choices, Yang Song sneered and snapped his fingers. A robust middle-aged man behind him stood out, glaring fiercely at Yan Fei.
Yan Fei ignored the middle-aged man. He stood up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window of the office, looking down at the street below. Then, suddenly, he grabbed the chair beneath him and smashed it hard against the window. A crisp sound was heard as the glass shattered to pieces, with fragments falling downwards. This window faced inward, overlooking a huge lawn with no one around, so no one was hurt by the falling debris.
Everyone in the room was stunned, not understanding what Yan Fei was up to. They watched as Yan Fei swung the chair, knocking out the remaining shards of the broken window. With no glass to obstruct it, a strong wind blew in from outside, causing papers to fly chaotically around the office.
Yan Fei turned around, looking coldly at Yang Song and said, "I'll give you ten seconds to decide how you'll leave this place. After ten seconds, I will make the second choice for you."
Enraged, Yang Song gave a signal, and two robust middle-aged men rushed forward to seize Yan Fei. Yan Fei took a firm stance, his fists shooting out rapidly, striking the chests of the two men with lightning speed.
Simultaneously, everyone in the room heard two "crack" noises, watching as the two middle-aged men were sent flying backward as if hit by a truck. They then smashed heavily against the room's wall with a loud impact, mixed with the sound of breaking bones.
The two middle-aged men were plastered against the wall like a painting, and after a while, they slowly slid down and lay on the floor motionless, their condition unknown. A long streak of blood was left on the wall, looking both gruesome and eerie.
With his first move, Yan Fei had knocked out Yang Song's two bodyguards, leaving their fates uncertain, and demonstrated his formidable strength. The young men present were dumbstruck, having seen Yan Fei's taekwondo fight videos before their arrival but underestimating his skills since they did not think highly of taekwondo. They hadn't expected that since that fight, Yan Fei's strength had skyrocketed again, and now, after his life-or-death battles in Africa, it had more than doubled. With this display of immense combat power, he had entirely stunned the group of youths.
Lu Pingping stood by, watching. Her face showed varying shades of admiration. She knew that Yan Fei had started practicing martial arts recently and seemed quite formidable, but she had not anticipated him being this powerful, taking out Yang Song's two bodyguards with a single move. She often saw these bodyguards by Yang Song's side; they were exceptional in their abilities and had resolved many issues for him. Yet they were utterly defenseless against Yan Fei, as powerless as infants.

The other employees from the company, gathered outside the room, were thrilled to see Yan Fei effortlessly take down the opponent's bodyguards, feeling proud of their boss's prowess.
Yan Fei paid no attention to the two middle-aged bodyguards lying on the floor and turned his gaze to Yang Song. Seeing Yan Fei's ferocious look, Yang Song shuddered, and as he was about to utter some placating words, his vision blurred. Yan Fei's figure had suddenly disappeared, and Yang Song felt himself being grabbed before his world turned upside down. Below, he saw the distant street and lawn, as a gust of wind swept by.
Effortlessly, Yan Fei had knocked down Yang Song and then, with one hand, lifted his leg, pulling him out of the window to dangle outside. Clearing the glass from the window had been to facilitate Yang Song's upside-down suspension.
Yan Fei's expression was blank as he slowly raised his arm, holding Yang Song's leg aloft with one hand. He said, "The ten seconds are up, and now it's time for me to make a choice for you."
That was when Yang Song's friends, recovering from their shock, saw him being held by one foot outside the window, becoming terrified. One of the young men turned back and shouted, "Sister Pingping, help! Stop him, Yang Song can't have an accident!"
Lu Pingping snorted coldly but remained silent.
Another young man blurted out, "Yan Fei, stop it right now! Do you know who Yang Song's father is? You can't afford to provoke the Yang Family..."
Seeing his friends come to his support, Yang Song, hanging upside down, finally snapped out of his initial panic, shouting, "Yan Fei, let me down! If anything happens to me, your whole family will die."
Yan Fei remained expressionless and replied, "I gave you a choice, but you gave it up. So now I'm choosing the path ahead for you." n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
In Africa, Yan Fei had wrought havoc, relying mainly on the terrifying capabilities of his Drone Avatar, but his own demeanor carried a certain deadly aura as well. The words spoken by him sent chills down one's spine.
Yang Song, still oblivious to the danger, threatened loudly, "Yan, I swear, I will destroy your company..."
Before Yang Song could finish his sentence, Yan Fei released the leg he was holding. Suddenly without support, Yang Song began to fall. With a scream, all his pride vanished, and he shrieked desperately, "No, I apologize... please..."
Yan Fei's right hand darted down like lightning, catching Yang Song as he plummeted.
Yang Song, who had not expected Yan Fei to be so brazen and impervious to threats, felt terrified as his life flashed before his eyes, thinking his end was near and pleading for mercy. Fortunately, Yan Fei had heard his cries just in time to reach out and catch him again, or else he would have met a grim fate.
Yang Song was once again grabbed by the foot by Yan Fei, and was immediately so terrified that his soul almost left his body, losing control of both his bladder and bowels simultaneously. Because he was hanging upside down, the urine flowed back through his clothes, into his mouth…
With a forceful pull, Yan Fei yanked Yang Song in from outside the floor-to-ceiling window and threw him onto the ground.
Yang Song, having gone through this ordeal, was so scared that he was not in his right mind. Even after the upside-down ordeal had ended, and Yan Fei threw him onto the ground, he continued to wail, not knowing what he was yelling about with a yellowish unidentified liquid dribbling from his mouth. His few companions quickly crowded around him, helped Yang Song to his feet, and prepared to leave with him.
Yan Fei sneered and said, "If you don't want to choose the second option, you know what to do, right?"
It was then that Yang Song finally came to his senses. He glared fiercely at Yan Fei but was startled by the cold expression on Yan Fei's face. He hesitated for a moment but still bowed to the injured Captain Huang and Li Tingting and apologized. Yan Fei had demanded kneeling, but Yang Song absolutely could not bring himself to kneel to others. He sneaked a glance at Yan Fei, and seeing that Yan Fei did not reject his bow, he let out a sigh of relief.
Then one of Yang Song's companions contacted the Company's finance department and transferred one million yuan as compensation for Captain Huang's medical and nutrition expenses. Only then did they get Yan Fei's permission to leave the premises dejectedly. As they left, at Yan Fei's reminder, Yang Song and his companions still carried the two knocked-out bodyguards with them.
Once Yan Fei returned to the Office, he took swift and decisive action against the trouble-making young master and demonstrated his immense personal charm. The Company employees looked at him with pure admiration in their eyes. Following Lu Pingping's orders, Captain Huang and the injured security guards were all sent to the best Hospital in Shanghai for treatment.
Only then did Yan Fei have the time to ask Lu Pingping what had happened.
Lu Pingping appeared somewhat frustrated as she told Yan Fei that Yang Song was the eldest son of the Yang Family of Beijing, a bona fide second-generation rich kid. His father, Yang Liu, was a famous entrepreneur in China with extensive influence.
Lu Pingping had previously worked as a senior executive in a top 500 Enterprise in the Empire. She had caught Yang Song's eye by chance, who immediately saw her as a goddess and embarked on a frenzied pursuit. But Lu Pingping already had someone in her heart, disregarded Yang Song's pursuit, and made her stance clear; however, Yang Song did not give up and continued to pester her under the pretense of business talks.
Due to certain reasons, Yan Fei hadn't searched for information about Lu Pingping on the Internet after they had parted ways, so he was utterly unaware of how famous she had become in Beijing over the years. In business circles of Beijing, Lu Pingping was hailed as a commercial prodigy with an extensive network of connections. Even though Yang Song pursued her, he never dared to force her, and his companions were even more impressed by her capabilities, greeting her respectfully as "Sister Pingping!" whenever they saw her.
Later, Lu Pingping left Beijing and returned to Shanghai. Because she kept a low profile, Yang Song couldn't find her trail. It was only after the incident with the Weight Loss Cookies blew up and her information was leaked that Yang Song managed to track her down.
Yang Song, seeing Yan Fei and Lu Pingping starting a business together, assumed that Yan Fei was Lu Pingping's boyfriend, which led to a huge misunderstanding and even a lesson from Yan Fei, causing him to lose face.
After hearing Lu Pingping's explanation, Yan Fei understood precisely who Yang Song was. While the Yang Family's Strength was formidable, Yan Fei didn't take them to heart. Once his own business truly expanded and grew strong, it would certainly not be inferior to the Yang Family of Beijing. Besides, he had the Drone's Auxiliary Brain and Technology Analysis for creating Black Technology. As long as he continued to develop Black Technology, his future goal was not to overpower the Yang Family, but the entire World.
Yan Fei, also a bit curious, asked, "Weren't you afraid that I would actually throw Yang Song down from here? You didn't even try to stop me."
Lu Pingping smiled and answered, "I know your character well, you wouldn't throw him down in front of so many people. At most, you were just scaring him. Since there was no real danger, why would I stop you?"
Yan Fei was taken aback, then suddenly burst into laughter. He and Lu Pingping had been classmates for four years. Lu Pingping understood him very thoroughly, even better than he understood himself. Indeed, he had no intention of killing Yang Song in front of everyone. Even if he ultimately let an uncooperative Yang Song go, he would privately find a way to deal with him. Although Lu Pingping understood him, she knew only the person he had been before; since getting the Drone Avatar, he couldn't tolerate any threat to himself, and he was determined to eliminate all those who threatened him.
Lu Pingping said seriously, "This Yang Song is a Straw bag, not worth the attention, but you should be careful of his father. His father, Yang Liu, is known for his ruthlessness. He would do anything for profit, even at the cost of selling out the interests of Chinese Enterprises, so you must be careful with him."
Yan Fei nodded; he had heard of this Yang Liu before, a man without scruples who only looked for profit. For the sake of profit, he would betray not just his teammates but even the country. Yan Fei wondered how this guy was able to grow his business domestically. If he targeted Yan Fei's Company, Yan Fei would really have to consider his options. However, knowing that a confrontation with Yang Liu was inevitable, he had no regrets about what happened today.
Lu Pingping also seemed worried and said, "Fei, it's all my fault. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have had a conflict with Yang Song."
Yan Fei waved his hand dismissively and laughed, "Let's not talk about this between us. Your matters are my matters. Besides, ever since we met, it has always been you helping me out of trouble. Today, I was able to help you, and it's only fair."
