Chapter 389 Meeting Mother After knowing the Truth
Kent, breathing heavily but standing tall, bowed his head in respect. "More than a hundred thousand, Master."
Tang Zi nodded, his gaze lingering on the remnants of Kent's transformation. "To fight over a hundred thousand beasts in one night and emerge victorious... you've surpassed my expectations."
Tang Zi's eyes gleamed with pride, but there was also a hint of something else—something deeper. "There is a great war waiting for you on the blue planet. The gods have already given you an opportunity to take revenge."
Kent's brow furrowed in confusion, his lion-like features softening slightly. "What do you mean, Master?" he asked, a questioning look in his eyes.
Tang Zi smiled.. "You'll understand everything after you meet your mother. The time is approaching for Immortal beast spirit gathering. Leave now, Kent. There is much that awaits you."
Kent hesitated, sensing the weight of his master's words, but he bowed deeply. "As you command, Master." He straightened and began to gather his treasures from the fresh water pond nearby, each item glowing with a soft light as he carefully packed them away.
As he prepared to leave, Kent stopped in front of Tang Zi, his gaze sincere. "Master, what can this disciple give to you to show my respect for your teachings? I owe you more than I can express."
Tang Zi shook his head, attempting to wave off the offer. "There is no need. I'm just repaying a favor."n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
But Kent was insistent, his expression firm. "Please, Master. Speak your wish. I cannot leave without repaying you in some way."
Tang Zi's eyes darkened slightly as he contemplated Kent's request. After a moment of silence, he spoke, his voice tinged with a gravity that was impossible to ignore.
"The first branch family of the Quinn family... They are the Lin's. They were the ones responsible for the massacre of my family. If you wish to repay me, I ask that you avenge their deaths. Someday, when the time is right."
Kent's expression hardened. "As you wish, Master. I will remember the price I need to pay." He bowed once more, a gesture filled with solemnity and commitment.
With that, Kent ascended his throne. The first rays of the rising sun pierced the horizon, casting a golden hue over the landscape as Kent took to the sky. The baby dragon nestled in his embrace let out a small, excited growl, while his two loyal pets sat solemnly beside him, their eyes reflecting the fierce determination of their master.
Behind him, Tang Zi watched until Kent was just a speck in the sky, his expression unreadable. But in his heart, there was a deep sense of satisfaction. The disciple he had trained was ready to take on the realms.
And when the time came, Tang Zi knew that Kent would fulfil the promise he had made. The winds of fate were shifting, and the great war that awaited would be one for the ages.

As Kent stepped out of the teleportation channel of the Blue Planet, he was immediately greeted by a servant of the Clark family, who had been anxiously waiting for his arrival.
Without wasting any time, the servant greeted Kent and asked to follow, and they began their journey to the distant lands where the Immortal Beast Spirit Gathering was soon to take place.
The atmosphere was nothing short of spectacular around the war god temple. The once serene and quiet lands had transformed into a vibrant, bustling hub of activity. Millions of onlookers had gathered, filling the air with excited chatter and anticipation.
The sight of the crowds was awe-inspiring—people from all realms had come to witness the realm war that was about to unfold. Colourful banners waved in the wind, while various business stalls, inns, and towering palaces had sprung up around the perimeter of the blessed land, each trying to outshine the other with their displays of wealth and grandeur.
Kent's eyes were drawn to the distant War God Temple, a sacred structure that stretched miles into the sky.
The temple was crowned by the imposing statue of the War God, a fearsome deity with eight powerful arms, each holding a different weapon—a massive crown adorned his head, exuding an aura of supreme authority. The statue seemed to gaze down upon the land with a watchful eye, as if guarding the sacred grounds beneath it.
The servant led Kent through the throngs of people, navigating the labyrinth of stalls and palaces until they reached a secret palace hidden among the hundreds that dotted the landscape.
As Kent stepped inside, he was greeted by the sight of two familiar figures standing before him: Madam Clark, his mother, and Aunt Eila.
The moment his eyes met his mother's, a surge of emotion welled up within him, almost overwhelming him. Now, with the truth of his past and the sacrifices she had made laid bare, the depth of his feelings was more than he could show.
Without a word, Kent crossed the distance between them and took his mother's hands in his own. His voice trembled as he spoke, his eyes filled with unshed tears. "Thank you for being my mother," he uttered, his tone heavy with emotion and gratitude.
Madam Clark's eyes softened as she gazed at her son, her heart swelling with pride and love. She gently placed her hands on either side of Kent's face, her touch warm and comforting as she caressed his cheeks.
Kent leaned into her touch, his tears finally spilling over as he let himself be enveloped in the warmth of her embrace. The years of pain, confusion, and hardship seemed to melt away in that moment, replaced by a profound sense of belonging and peace.
After a few moments, Madam Clark took Kent's hand and led him deeper into the palace, to a grand hall where treasures were piled high, glimmering and sparkling in the dim light.
The sheer quantity of riches was overwhelming—golden artifacts, powerful weapons, rare elixirs, and countless other treasures were stacked from floor to ceiling, like a dragon's hoard.
"All of this is for you," Madam Clark said with a joyful smile, her eyes shining with pride as she gestured to the treasure trove.
Kent's jaw dropped slightly as he took in the sight. The wealth before him was unimaginable, enough to make any warrior or mage's heart race with greed.
But Kent's feelings were mixed. He had seen and acquired treasures far more powerful, far more personal than anything here. A small, amused smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he turned back to his mother.
"Mother, you've outdone yourself," he said, his voice a mixture of gratitude and amusement. "But... I already have treasures beyond imagination. You didn't need to do all of this for me."
Madam Clark chuckled softly, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "I know, my son. But a mother's heart never stops worrying. I wanted to make sure you had everything as you're going to fight thousands single handedly." Read new chapters at empire
Kent's heart swelled with love and appreciation. He stepped closer and gently took her hands in his once more. "Thank you, Mother. Not just for these treasures, but for everything. For taking care of me, for guiding me, for always being there. I can never repay you."
Madam Clark smiled warmly, her eyes misting with emotion. "You don't need to repay me. Your happiness, your safety... that is all I need. Just promise me that you'll take care of yourself, and that you'll come back to me after all this is over."
Kent nodded solemnly, his eyes filled with determination. "I promise, Mother. I will come back to you. And I will make you proud."
