That was the best way that the process could be explained as becoming a Ruler was a process that took strenuous effort and time, with one's soul gradually fusing with a catalyst towards a Covenant of Nature until a strong enough connection was formed to allow one to gain an understanding of said Covenant!

After that, there was a feedback loop of strength.

By simply understanding a Covenant of Nature, one's life force would be elevated and empowered based on that Covenant of Nature, and they would have new ways to unleash the power of their catalyst, which in this case would be their Ability Gems!

Claire Asmodeus was nowhere close to doing such a thing.

With only a Five-Link Gem Socket, there was still a long way!

And yet…

An illusory nine-pointed Gem floated above her as through it, concentrated waves of the authority of the Covenant of Gold flowed through unceasingly!

Her sockets became layered with a gold glow.

Her eyes pulsated tendrils of golden radiance as her small body became even more attuned with power, her blue eyes gradually taking on a golden sheen as time passed.

Anastasia and others in the background looked towards her in shock even while all of them also felt the construction of something grand they could pull a lot of power from- the Vessel of the Heart of the Ruler that seemed to be buzzing within their Master.

Every single entity here seemed to be astounded as the only one who wasn't…many eyes turned towards him.

Towards Alexander who acted like nothing was wrong!

And Alexander's calm face didn't give any indication of an explanation as he only gave a smile of affirmation to Claire who seemed to be asking him what was going on, and when she saw him not freaking out…she simply sat down in a meditative position and felt the changes coursing through her.

All of this…came from just the designing of a single Ability Gem.

[You…you…!]

Ryanara lost her words as she looked like she wanted to ask many things, but seeing how this new friend didn't offer any input, she controlled herself and didn't ask.

After all, everyone had their secrets!

[You…seem to be much more exemplary than you show yourself to be, Alexander. You wouldn't happen to be a Sky Ruler, right?]

A Sky Ruler.

Someone who was above a Land Ruler and completely understood a Covenant, and someone just below a Void Ruler who had entirely understood and then fully assimilated said Covenant on their Gems.

A Sky Ruler could potentially aid another in achieving Rulership by teaching them about a certain Covenant, but even that wouldn't fully explain things!

Alexander waved his hands to dismiss such a thought from the Alfanian Human before him as his eyes were more drawn onto his current panel that expressed his level of power.

But even this didn't seem enough as to prepare for whatever Ephesus would throw out there, Alexander felt like he needed more.

He had just forged a Main Ability Gem that granted terrifying capabilities- and this was without it gaining any support abilities- of which it could have nine.

He looked towards his reserves of Energeia that were nearly doubled due to the Bonds of the Gold Ruler, and his thoughts went out to the Enneagram once more.

'Begin the design of the first Support Ability Gem…Amplification Support.'

His mind buzzed with activity as he began to throw out ideas.

The Enneagram would take them and then state whether they were viable or not as soon enough, he would have all nine slots within his Enneagram filled!

In front of him, Ryanara was shaking her head in contemplation when all of a sudden…

ROAR!

Bellows and yells were heard within the depths of the mist a few miles away from the foot of the Sacred Gold Mountain.

Ryanara's gaze changed rapidly at this roar as after she sent her senses out, she rose up and shot out into the mist speedily!

Alexander only nodded towards Jujugan for him to follow as he didn't sense the auras of any Rulers.

More shouts bellowed out in the next few seconds, followed by the deathly roars of Beasts after that before silence followed.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

A minute passed, and from the deeply gray mist, multiple figures began to walk out.

Led by the icy gold Jujugan and Ryanara, the figures of 7 bloodies Alfanian Lords and Kings could be seen, with one being a young man holding 9 dazzling Sockets- an Emperor!

His skin and hair tinted with gold radiance made him emanate tremendous valor as his muscular body made him all that much more valiant.

He followed directly behind Ryanara as if he had found the most sacred thing to protect, his gaze looking around rapidly as he was voicing out.

[Great Princess, can they be trusted?]

His gaze went towards the deathly energy surrounding Jujugan who paid him no heed- with this Night Walker currently pulling along a massive corpse of a Dragon as its prize!

Ryanara frowned at his words as she made a motion to quiet him while they arrived.

Ryanara walked towards Alexander as the new entrants from the World of Alfana looked all around wryly, many of them bloodied as the Tier 9 Emperor called Thasana hesitated before he opened his mouth- giving Jujugan a sideways glance as he laid down a massive corpse of a Tier 9 Dragon on the gold earth under them!
