Chapter 1602 The Seventh Pill Quest!
It has been years since the store hired an assistant after a contest. Everyone had become extremely familiar with Ransh, and he enjoyed his job.
The work was too much as the free time had almost disappeared due to the large number of customers, but fortunately for him, there was a calming effect inside the store, so he didn't worry about it and was always calm.
[Ding!]
Aakesh was conversing with a customer when suddenly a mechanical alert rang in his ears. It was only the start, as many new notifications appeared after that.
Since Aakesh was in the middle of a conversation, he decided not to focus on that and wait for his free time to check it.
At the same time, Ransh also heard a voice in his head. It was he who had just completed a sale, and then a voice rang in his head.
It was a familiar voice, belonging to the store owner. According to the voice, he had completed some achievements and would be getting a bonus of one month's salary in addition to his usual high monthly salary.
Ransh was excited but soon calmed down as there was another customer already replacing the old one. Anyway, he had earned a large amount of wealth after working in the store for decades, so one month's salary wasn't worth much to him. He was only happy because getting a bonus meant that his work was appreciated.
Aakesh was his role model, so it made that achievement even more special for him.
Unaware of the feelings going through in Ransh's mind, Aakesh was immersed in his job as the store owner. Due to Ransh, the queue before him had reduced, but it was still a large number of people.
"You can only absorb the knowledge yourself. There is no reselling allowed, so don't do it if you don't want to get punished by the store," Aakesh warned the customer as usual after the sale of skills was complete.
"Thank you, store owner!"
The man thanked Aakesh and left the store with an excited face. He had been saving for a long time to get the skills since he had chosen them years ago.
There was no one before Aakesh, so he finally decided to check the notifications.
[Ding!]
[Host, congratulations on completing the "Mission Objective: Sell Pills" successfully! The sale commission has been transferred to you.]
[The "Mission Reward: Emperor Grade pills" will be given after the store's closing!]
[Please see the following screen for your seventh pill's quest!]
The next moment, a blue window containing the details of the seventh pill's quest appeared in front of him.
[Mission Sequence: Seven
Objective: Sell pills,
Detail: With Hunto's purchase, the store had met all of the previous sales requirements for the sixth pill quest. The store has finally begun to make an impression on a large populace across the dimension. It isn't time to laze around but work even harder to make the store known to every being.
Number of pills you need to sell: 100,000,000,000,000,000 (each category),
Days required: 36,000,000 days,
Mission reward: Ten new pill types addition in all Lesser, Higher, King, and Emperor grades,
Failure Punishment: The random disappearance of fifteen types of pills and the sales commission will turn to 0 at the eligible product's sale for the next one million years.]
Aakesh heard all the alerts and focused on the blue screen. He couldn't help but become surprised and then frowned. The quest's requirements had grown a thousandfold, and the mission wanted the store to sell 100 quadrillion pills for each category.
It wasn't what surprised Aakesh, but the days required to complete the quest. The requirement had only grown ten times, meaning he needed to sell several thousand quadrillion pills belonging to different categories in just one hundred thousand years.
The difficulty of the quest had grown countless times since the requirement now also had Emperor level pills, and the number of required sales was the same as for the grades lower than Emperor.
Aakesh didn't worry about it for long, as irrespective of the difficulty, not completing the quest wasn't allowed. The system didn't purposefully increase the difficulty, as it all depended upon the growth rate of the store.
Unless the store saw some huge negative changes, it had the complete ability to complete the quest way before the deadline, like the sixth and earlier sequences in the series.
After stopping worrying about the difficulty, Aakesh focused on the reward section. It was on the expected lines that the types of pills would grow. He only glanced at the failure section as his habit had become and waved his hands.
The next moment, the screen disappeared, waiting for him to call it back if the need arose.
Time flew by, and hours flashed in the blink of an eye.
As the sun began to set, darkness began to envelop the sky of the Thorr and its nearby cities. With it, the time for the store to close also approached closer.
Aakesh began walking to different rooms to inform the customers of the closing time. The next moment, those customers who were still short of selecting their chosen products began to leave the store.
After around fifteen minutes, the sun completely set down. Except for the customers in Panagea, the customers in line to experience the skill, the customers in line to the taming battle, Aakesh, Lily, and Khaval, everyone had left.
Autumn and Katrina had been busy with their things for the past few years, so they hadn't been coming to the store.
Lily and Khaval deeply missed them. The former was close to Autumn, who treated her as an ancestor, while the latter was close to Katrina, who played with him. Even Aakesh missed them slightly, as the two had become his friends.
Autumn was very solemn with him due to Lily, but Katrina was one of those who treated him casually. He didn't worry about them since they had discussed with him before leaving and would be returning in a few years.
A few minutes later, everyone in the store had left, leaving only the trio. Aakesh walked to the store's door and shut it down.
