Your Lord Has A Screw Loose?

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: The Number of Lords Falling Below Double Digits

On the sixth day of the third week, Qin Muye's points had ceased to increase. However, he had spent them all, accumulating a total of 20,641 points, though he had not made any noteworthy appearance on the leaderboard.

As the Demon Blood returned with the Spirit Monsters through the Bidirectional Teleportation Gate, a large batch of resources was accounted for.

Apart from resources, there were also a good number of treasures, though essentially they were Basic Treasures. There was one Intermediate Treasure called the Golden Bag, which is an upgraded version of his Golden Bag that could yield 750 Gold Coins per day.

Other than that, there was nothing much else.

From what Demon Blood narrated, Qin Muye also learned that in these three days they had only raided five Undead Forces, averaging about four thousand points per force, perhaps with some fluctuation, but essentially around that number.

Of course, these points were enough for Qin Muye to exchange all the Basic Building Blueprints from the previous event and already build and upgrade them.

Raiding for points wasn't much, but that didn't mean they killed fewer monsters.

The Bidirectional Teleportation Gate led to a Land of the Undead populated with many Undead.

Moreover, there were quite a few potent Undead Forces, each one only attacked after careful reconnaissance and confirmation.

Adding to their marching speed and the intervals between forces, managing to raid five Undead Forces in three days was indeed commendable, as it's not like these forces were just a street apart. Distances started at hundreds of miles, those being on the shorter side.

If we really talk about it, the gains were average at best, the real acquisition was indeed the leveling up of Demon Blood and Evil Speech.

Demon Blood had leveled up to LV15, and Evil Speech to LV14.

One going up by 2 levels and the other by 3 levels constituted a pretty good leveling session. Therefore, Demon Blood gained the Basic Counterattack and Basic Reconnaissance Skill.

[Basic Counterattack: Troop counterattack damage increased by 5%]n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

This was a fairly standard skill; the really useful one was Basic Reconnaissance Skill. With this skill, handling many situations in combat became much more convenient.

The three skills of Evil Speech were more peculiar: Basic Demonology, Intermediate Demonology, and Basic Resistance.

[Basic Demonology: Death System Magic effect +5%]

[Intermediate Demonology: Death System Magic effect +10%]

These two skills also had pre-requisites, namely mastering the corresponding level's Soul Summoning Technique, Death Understanding, Mysticism, and Wisdom Skill before they could be learned.

You have to say, it's quite good. With this, Evil Speech's capability to weaken Death System became even more powerful.

It's likely that magic from other systems would have similar prerequisite skills, it's just a pity that Qin Muye only had this one Mage System Hero under him.

However, with this experience, they could potentially avoid some detours in the future.

Later, Qin Muye also inquired about where they had placed the Bidirectional Teleportation Gate. After all, this wasn't just a one-off deal; they surely needed it for future outings.

Demon Blood didn't place it back in the original cave, as who knows what problems might arise, but instead buried it in a hidden spot.

Mainly because the location of the Bidirectional Teleportation Gate was in an Undead Region, which was really not suited for them, the living. Otherwise, Demon Blood would have considered establishing a stronghold as a forward operating base there.

After all, as the living among a bunch of Undead, they were far too conspicuous and would likely become targets if they stayed long. Therefore, Demon Blood's plan was simple-to somehow move the Bidirectional Teleportation Gate away from the Land of the Undead as far as possible.

But the Land of the Undead was vast, so it was hard to determine a specific location immediately; they could only try their best before it was time to return.

He wanted to continue, but constrained by Qin Muye's command, it was unavoidable.

After hearing Demon Blood's plan, Qin Muye agreed that it was the right approach, but now was not the time.

Though conspicuous among the Undead, it didn't imply they wouldn't be conspicuous elsewhere. After this raid, it was likely that wherever these gifted lords were, they would be a bane.

Now, after six days of raiding activities, the top ten on the leaderboard had all entered the fifth tier, with the True Dragon Emperor even advancing directly to Champion Level of fifth tier, the remaining Dai Rakudo and Wang Junzi also advancing to Elite of fifth tier, whereas those below were normal fifth tier.

The division between the upper tier and lower tier was severely great, Qin Muye being part of the lower tier. Despite being second tier, that was all there was to it.

However, it didn't matter; as long as he lived his small life well, the area in which he resided, the Red Wind Plain, was of little value, at least not worrying about being erroneously killed.

After all, it was not only remote and desolate but also valueless.

After filling the Library and Magic Guild with the bulk of the Skill Books and Magic Books that Demon Blood and Evil Speech collected, he thought of one thing-that there's probably one more day left before the raiding event ends.

As for what's to come, he no longer planned to participate, as it was far too risky. Whether it was Demon Blood or Evil Speech, losing either of the two heroes could probably put his territory in jeopardy, so it was best to quit while ahead. After all, this feast was for high- ranking lords, and small lords like them could just nibble on the leftovers.

These six days of activity had directly reduced the leaderboard to just 94 people, and Qin Muye himself had moved up a few places, reaching the 89th position, dropping to the bottom

five.

This indicated not only that the lords ranked behind Qin Muye had died but also those in front of him, surely a reprisal by the natives.

Thinking about it was frightening. Indeed, this was not something ordinary people could handle. In three weeks, the mortality rate was as high as 90%, and it was still rising. Who knew when it would be his turn?

He now somewhat appreciated being placed in this resource-poor and isolated location. "Defending the city, attacking, this is deliberately training lords. It's just unknown what the fourth week's activity will be..." Qin Muye knew that each event came with rich rewards, but each was fraught with death, truly akin to raising gu.

"With one day left, why don't I use the Script Dungeon Scroll? It's a good time to clear a dungeon."

He was idle anyway, and with Demon Blood and Evil Speech back, along with 1000 Frenzy Blood Spirit Monsters and 100 Evil Curse Spirit Monsters, he didn't believe he couldn't clear a

dungeon.

Once decided, he immediately brought Demon Blood and Evil Speech, along with the Spirit Monsters and used the Script Dungeon Scroll.

A ray then enveloped him, transporting Qin Muye away, leaving only Demon Blood and Evil

Speech to look at each other bewilderedly.

"Did the master forget to bring us along?"

"Maybe he wants us to wait?"

The two Spirit Monsters were somewhat at a loss.
