"You did it, satisfied?" God Almighty asked.

"Maybe..." Adam scratched the back of his head. "I don't think anything will truly satisfy me."

"Well, time for the truth." Little God retrieved one of the capsules. "Let's see whether that version of you managed to become even slightly helpful to you."

Within the capsule, he managed to find the peak strength that Adam managed to reach during his life.

"Oh?" Little God looked impressed. "Divine Templar. I think that experience truly made him push himself even harder."

"Heh..." Adam smiled happily. "Not bad."

"Well, this might be just enough. Barely." Little God said.

"We've done so much already for this experiment, so might as well go all-in." God Almighty created a bubble in his hand and pushed it inside Adam's forehead. "There, the power of all the dead timelines."

"You might be the last chance we go." Little God snapped his fingers. "Good luck."

A swirling portal appeared behind Adam that sucked him right inside.

Only three seconds had passed since Adam's death.

Alastor slowly walked away from Adam's corpse, but at that moment, he came to a stop and turned back around.

Adam's dead eyes slowly saw light again, and his body, which seemed dead, came back to life, and he slowly stood back up like a zombie.

"You're dead." Alastor frowned. "What is happening?"

"I guess I just don't know how to die." Adam took a deep breath, and his hair slowly turned white. "So, this is my new power?"

"Whew..." Adam looked at his new level with a smirk.

"You became Exalted Lord in just three seconds?" Alastor frowned. "What did they do to you?"

At that moment, Alastor's eyes started widening as he could swear that he was seeing thousands of Adam's standing behind the real Adam, like holograms.

They were all different heights, ages, and strengths, but they were all giving their strength to Adam.

"Different timelines? Those crazy fuckers!" Alastor laughed. "All that to defeat me? I am honored, but do they think that is enough?!"

"We will see." Adam moved to an attacking stance. "I've received all the skills and knowledge bits of myself all across the time stream."

"Oh, am I fighting a thousand Adam's right now?" Alastor asked with a grin.

"You are." Adam summoned a ball of blue light with his right and a ball of white light with his left. "All of me will be fighting you."

At the monastery.

"Ah!" Lady Yu's teary eyes widened again, and she immediately looked ahead to the horizon. "He is back? Yes... I can feel his warmth..."

With a teary smile, she started praying.

"What the hell are these things?!"

The mercenaries shouted as they fought strange winged creatures that happened to come out of nowhere.

The village was on fire, and the mercenaries were desperately trying to fight them off.

However, at that moment, the winged creatures sensed a clash of two powerful forces coming over the horizon.

Coming somewhere near the Castle Rock.

Frightened, the winged creatures started flying away.

"T-they're leaving?" Digby and the rest of the exhausted Crimson Hound Mercenaries

Black smoke started rising from Alastor's body.

"Come at me, then!"

"Blue Winter!" Adam threw a ball of blue light at Alastor, and as soon as it came in contact, it engulfed him in a world of freezing cold.

"That's cold!" Alastor jumped into the air and crossed his arms. "Black Partisans!"

Three black spears appeared in front of him.

Adam jumped towards him and crossed his arms in front of him. "Ice Partisans!"

Three ice spears appeared in front of him.

The spears clashed with each other and destroyed each other.

"Black Ball!" Alastor threw a ball made out of darkness.

"Strong Force, Star Blanket!" Adam covered the black ball with stretching star-shaped energy

that looked like it was something that could mold into anything.

Alastor and Adam started trading punches, causing the ground to crack and shatter.

Nothing near them could survive their explosive clash.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!

At that moment, Adam's eyes started burning with liquid fire, and he turned into the fiery creature of Berserker.

With a flaming roar, he smashed into Alastor and sent him flying away.

"Black Lock!" Alastor reached out his hand towards Adam and wrapped him inside the black

smoke.

However.

"Blue Winter!"

The freezing ice made the black smoke into one big block of ice.

Without any difficulty, Adam smashed through it.

"So cold that it is able to freeze smoke!" Alastor grinned. "Not bad. Black Partisans!"

The spears flew like missiles at Adam, but he just flew through it all. Not a single black spear managed to pierce his indestructible body.

"Black Death!"

The black flames surrounded Adam and started burning through his wings, but then his flames started burning even hotter, overpowering the Black Death flames.

"Shit..." Alastor looked at Adam, but in his eyes, it looked like a thousand Adam's were

jumping at him!

'Overpowering force...'

The punches landed at Alastor, the attacks smashed through him, and the skills exploded

against him.

Thousands of Adam's attacked him at the same time!

'So... this is how it is?' Alastor laughed weakly as half of his face got blown off. 'You sneaky fuckers in the sky. This is how you wanted to stop me? I guess your gamble worked.

God Almighty looked away from the watching pearl.

"Why're you looking away?" Little God asked. "It's getting to the most important part."

"It's over." God Almighty said. "Nothing to watch anymore. Just violence at this point."

Alastor crashed into the ground with half of his body missing; he just kept grunting and

groaning while bleeding out.

Adam landed beside him and stared silently at him. "So, that's how it is, huh?"

"Hah..." Alastor coughed out blood. "You went all-out from the beginning, you fucker...

shouldn't you start slow before ramping up the strength?"

"Nah, I don't want to fight ten days and ten nights with you." Adam said. "The world is

ending, y'see, because of you."

"I see..." Alastor coughed and closed his eyes. "Is the afterlife nice?"

"Yeah," Adam said. "I don't think you like it though."

"Oh... why is that?"

"It's too happy." Adam said. "Everyone smiling and shit."

"Sounds like..." Alastor closed his eyes one final time. "Shit..."

Adam looked away from him and walked over to Castle Rock, up the long stairs, until he was

standing at the entrance.

The Castle Rock was a mess-a broken mess.

As he sat down on the steps with a heavy look, he heard footsteps and saw disheveled-haired Aria being chased by the slaves of the city.

"Hey, you!" Aria pointed at Adam. "Save me! These filthy fucking players are trying to kill

me!"

"?" Adam pointed his hand at Aria and made her stop with Gravity Force.

That allowed the players to catch her, and they immediately started to beat her up for working

with Moriarty.

Tap, tap, tap.

At that moment, while Aria was screaming her lungs out, another person stepped forward

with a cold look in his eyes.

"You..." Seth stepped up the steps towards Adam. "I finally get to see you."

"Seth, what the fuck are you doing?!" Aemon shouted below the stairs. "That man is way

above you. Get back here!"

"No, I don't care how much stronger he is. I will fuck him up!" Seth screamed.

"It's you..." Adam slowly stood up. "I remember you."

"Good, you must know why I am here then!" Seth screamed angrily.

Adam retrieved a very basic-looking shortsword from his inventory and stabbed it into the

ground.

"You're here for this, right?"

"You still had it..." Seth narrowed his eyes. "Good!"

"Well, you wanted to come to get this back one day." Adam cracked his knuckles. "Well, here I am."

"Argh!" Seth jumped and kicked his leg like a whip.

Adam grabbed the leg and tossed Seth away like he was a kid.

Seth crashed into a wall but instantly hopped back to his feet.

He kept fighting, and fighting, but kept being hurled away like a child every time.

It was barely a fight.

"Haaa!" Seth punched, but Adam grabbed it easily.

"You must do harder than that." Adam said with a smile.

Suddenly, another Seth's punch came to the right, and while Adam saw the punch fly towards

him incredibly slowly, like a punch thrown by a snail, he still didn't bother to dodge.

The punch landed on his cheek and barely made his cheek move.

"Seth, stop that foolishness!" Aemon shouted.

"No, never!" Seth screamed. "I'll crush this piece of shit!"

With that, he attacked again, and Adam pushed him down to the ground.

Their fight lasted through the day and over the night. Soon the first light of the next morning dawned over the New World.

Seth, battered and bruised, lay on the ground, trying to get up but to no avail.

"Was fun, but I've got somewhere to be." Adam picked up his jacket and walked past him.

"D-don't you dare to run away!" Seth tried to crawl after him. "G-give the sword back!" "You have it; look behind you."

Seth turned around and saw that the sword was still stuck inside the ground. Adam didn't take

it with him.

He quickly grabbed it and saw that its blade was all dull and dirty, but it still looked beautiful

to him. "Why are you not taking this with you?" Seth asked. "This must mean something to you since you've kept it so long."

"Well..." Adam looked at the sky. "I took it from you because you were too weak to carry it

without getting killed for it. I think you're now more than powerful enough to not lose it."

"..." Seth looked at the steel sword and hugged at it.

The morning sun rose high to the sky.

A few weeks later.

"Wow!" Alice walked down the monastery's courtyard. "I never thought Mortal Online would

be so beautiful!"

"Mm..." Adam said with a smile.

After everything ended, Adam had a few days of relaxation with Alice, and she talked about

wanting to come to Mortal Online to meet a certain someone.

It wasn't too hard.

With his influence, he was able to easily make her pass the waiting queue to the tutorial and

even was able to make her skip the tutorial altogether.

She didn't get the system thought, but she didn't really need it as she was here only to meet

someone.

As they arrived at the balcony courtyard, Alice laid her eyes on the ever-beautiful Lady Yu,

sitting by one of the white tables, and felt her breath get stuck inside her throat.

"Wow..." She exclaimed.

At that moment, Lady Yu turned to look over and smiled sweetly.

"You must be Alice. I heard a great deal from you."

Alice, nervously, sat next to her, still in awe of Lady Yu's presence, but it became easier for her

to get used to her presence because the beautiful priestess spoke to her quite naturally, as if

they had known each other for a long time. Adam leaned over the balcony with a smile and listened to them talk.

At that moment, the air turned cold, and everyone in the New World felt it.

They turned their gazes to the sky and saw the sky turning black as if the light was getting

sucked out.

The morning light was getting stolen away! "A-Adam?" Lady Yu exclaimed. "Something horrible is happening!"

"Aha, I know what." Adam wryly smiled. "You two, keep talking; I'll handle that."

With a couple of steps, he disappeared beyond the horizon.

"Will Adam be okay?" Alice asked worryingly.

"Haha, yes." Lady Yu smiled and took a sip of the tea. "He is strongest now."

Above the forest, Adam appeared and looked down at a figure that was responsible for the sun turning black.

The figure was an almost-naked woman with thin, black leather clothing barely covering her

privates. On her lower back, a tail sprouted, and she had two horns.

She looked like a demoness.

"Loya," Adam said. "No, you must be the demoness who's already taken over her mind."

"You!" The demoness laughed. "You're that bastard human. To think you found me this quickly, you've become stronger, but not strong enough!"

"Oh?" Adam snapped his fingers, and thousands of illusionary Adam's surrounded the skies

above the demoness.

"W-what the hell is that?" The demoness was speechless.

"All of me."
