Chapter 47
C47 – Bloodline Communication Spirit!
“Building 121, this must be it!”
Qin Hongyu quickly located his dorm at Sacred Heart Academy using the information on his room card.
The academy truly lived up to its reputation as a prestigious high school, with dormitory conditions that were first-rate in every aspect, from cleanliness to facilities.
As he was about to enter, a jarring burst of laughter from inside stopped him.
“Who’s the hick with a suitcase like a burlap sack?”
“Yoho… This guy must be from the sticks, right? He even brought his family photos with him!”n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
“Hahaha… This kid’s got a sachet with him! Who gave him this monstrosity? It’s hideous!”
……
Qin Hongyu’s brow furrowed, and with a forceful kick, he flung the dorm door open.
Inside, two guys decked out in designer wear were rummaging through his belongings, scattering his clothes and personal items everywhere. One of them was holding his only family photo.
The loud noise made them look up, their faces etched with scorn, not a trace of remorse to be seen.
“Put that down!” Qin Hongyu demanded, shaking with rage but trying to contain himself.
“So you’re Qin Hongyu? Just a Class D nobody, and you’re acting all high and mighty?” one of the men retorted, standing up with a cold sneer.
“For the last time, put down that photo!” Qin Hongyu’s eyes grew icy.
There were few things in life he truly cherished, and among them were the fragrance pouch Bo Miaojiao had given him and his family photo.
These two had the audacity to go through his luggage in his absence and mock him behind his back!
The standing man’s frown deepened. Far from complying, he tossed the sachet to the floor with a scoff, “Do you even know who you’re talking to? I’m a Class A prodigy. You’re just Class D trash. Get it straight—I run this dorm!”
With that, he lifted his foot, aiming to crush the family photo with his dusty shoe.
In that instant, Qin Hongyu’s mind was flooded with memories of a joyful childhood, the warm smiles of his parents replaying over and over.
His pupils dilated abruptly, and his heartbeat surged to more than twice its normal rate. He could distinctly sense the acceleration of his blood flow.
But it wasn’t just that. It felt as though millions of ants were viciously gnawing at his veins, the severe pain nearly causing him to black out.
Yet, as the foot continued to descend, Qin Hongyu fought to keep his consciousness clear. At last, the overwhelming pain crested like a dam bursting, unleashing a formidable surge of lightning from within him!
[Ding! Extreme state detected in host. Bloodline Communication Spirit activated automatically.]
The familiar electronic tone echoed once again in Qin Hongyu’s mind. He instantly realized that what coursed through his veins was no longer mere blood, but the force of thunder itself!
Qin Hongyu sprang into action. In an instant, his figure vanished from sight, leaving behind only a faint crackle of electricity where he had stood moments before. As if by teleportation, he reappeared right in front of the man.
With a thunderous might, Qin Hongyu hurled his fist, the air around it exploding with noise. The man, caught off guard and unable to mount a defense, could only watch as Qin Hongyu’s thunder-laden punch struck him squarely in the chest.
