My Muscle System in the Mage World

Chapter 402 Rat People

A year has already passed in this world, and a month has gone by in the real world.

Aur stood still, his eyes full of disappointment as he gazed upon the stone.

"It looks like this is not really effective," he muttered in his heart with some pity. He did gain some valuable insight into Space Magic, but reaching the Disciple Level was not so easy.

With the Supreme Magic of Time above it, the Magic of Space was almost equally harder. Without anyone to teach and not even a Space Magic Spell to take inspiration from, it would be a fool's dream to even comprehend this.

"Stella, can you use the Space Magic Spell?" Aur asked her lightly, even though he knew he would be disappointed in his heart. And exactly as expected, Stella disappointed him while replying in simple words:

"No, Master."

"What should I do then?"

A contemplative frown appeared on Aur's face as his pupils darted around the place.

"It seems like there is some life presence underground in this place. Could they be using Space Magic for me to observe?"

Aur had already known about them but didn't pay much attention to it because he didn't have a single comprehension of Space Magic Spell yet. Even if he had observed someone use the Space Magic Spell, he would not have gained anything from it previously.

He needed to at least have an iota of understanding if he truly wanted to comprehend Space Magic. After all, using it yourself or seeing others use it were two entirely different things.

Thinking about this, Aur looked at Stella again: "Can those underground beings use it then?"Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Eh," Stella was stunned for a moment before she spoke in a mechanical voice, "Yes, master, it is possible for the rat people to use spells."

"Rat people?" Aur said curiously.

"Yes, they are a breed of half-human and half-rat. They are as big as humans, but their bodies are that of rats. They work similar to humans except for their outer appearance and soul," Stella explained.

"How does the soul work? I am curious to hear about it," Aur said, perking his ears.

Soul was a thing he didn't have an entire understanding about yet.

The thing that was ever close to his soul was likely the Life Level attribute of his, which could directly enhance all the illusionary attributes of his. But he truly didn't have an understanding of it.

"Those who do not have a human soul cannot become a Tier Seven Wizard or higher," Stella replied.

"Eh," Aur was stunned on the spot, his pupils looking at Stella in confusion.

"It's the laws of the world. Even when our sect was present, it was the same as well. Without a human soul, it is impossible to become a Tier Seven wizard. So, these half-breeds were considered as inferior creatures to us. Even in our era, they were almost completely wiped out, with only some top creatures surviving."

"And they are?" Aur asked lightly.

"They were Celestial Demons, Angels, and a breed of variants of lizards. These rat people were captured by my master to grow our world."

"How could those three creatures survive if you said that there was no Tier Seven that could come from those races?" Aur was more curious about this than anything.

"That is half true," Stella spoke with her Mechanical Tone. "These creatures couldn't become Tier Seven following the wizard system, but those three creatures have their own weird system."

"The human emperor had personally tried to wipe out all the history of the golden era, and most of the information that I have told the master are the last remains of that old, golden era."

"Interesting," Aur nodded his head, his crimson pupils flashing with interest. This Human Emperor likely had so much to hide if he was actively wiping out all the history before this era.

As for destroying the Fate Palace for the purpose of making everyone free in the world?

Aur would only sneer in his heart. If he was so compassionate, then he wouldn't put such heavy restrictions on this era.

"There is a scheme going on, someone that could equally fight against the Human Emperor, and it might not be a single person. We are nothing but the chessboard they set up."

He felt a chill down his spine. These people were something that was out of his reach and not something he could even dare to think about.

"I need to reach at least Tier Seven before I am even qualified to think about these things," shaking his head, Aur went to the underground with Stella slowly following behind. Your journey continues with empire

Soon, he was met with the sight of a city that expanded as far as he could see.

"Hmm?" Aur squinted his eyes, looking at the two human figures but rats wearing silver armor guarding the gates.

When the two appeared, the two guards were immediately shocked and they cried loudly.

"Halt, Intruder!"

The two rat people's expressions were extremely fierce and stern. With the light barely reflecting on them, the only thing these two could see was two blurry dark figures hidden in the shadows.

"They even speak our language, huh?" Aur glanced at Stella, whose expression was extremely cold.

"How dare these rat people forget their own master."

Stella slowly floated in the air with a straight back, her bald head shining in the underground light reflecting from the city.

"Rat people, have you forgotten your true master?" she shouted in a loud tone.

Immediately, the two rat guards trembled and bowed on the spot.

"Please forgive us, immortal," they cried out. By this time, the whole place was already on alert, and many rat people came out of their places, looking around with tentative expressions.

When they saw the figure of the bald woman, they immediately bowed while trembling all over.

"Immortal, don't be angry."

"Immortal, don't be angry."

More and more rat people joined in, all bowing towards her.

"Hmm, none of them are wizards?" Aur thought with a frown in his heart.
