Chapter 403 Fabric of Space
"Lalala~ I take my beautiful wife for a ride~ lala~ my wife is very satisfied~ lala~"
Liam hummed while closing his eyes. He was being fed cheese by one of his servants, and with a sense of satisfaction and domination in his heart, he gulped the cheese in mouthfuls.
"The rat people shall dethrone the immortal~ lala~ I shall rise for world domination~ lala~"
He hummed as the servant, a rat girl, trembled violently, horror written in her eyes.
Liam opened his rat-like eyes and spoke with a chuckle, "You don't have to worry; I won't kill you. That immortal might likely be dead already. After all, only our ancestors saw him and then painted him. Hmph, that old thing must have gone senile."
At this time, Liam heard some loud murmurs from outside, causing him to frown in response.
"Who dares to disturb my peace?"
As he angrily walked out, his pupils widened with horror written in his eyes. His chubby rat body froze in place, and then he tremblingly bowed.
"Please forgive me, Immortal…"
At that moment, a bulky man with long white hair appeared in front of him, his crimson eyes making Liam's whiskers tingle in horror.
Liam felt as if his entire fur was going to be destroyed soon, and he was already perspiring violently.
"Are you the only Wizard among us?" the bulky man spoke with an extremely cold voice.
"Yes… Yes, Immortal." Liam bowed again, hitting his head to the ground multiple times until it bled.
"Interesting."
Aur slowly floated and turned back, leaving the place. "Follow me."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Liam gulped with an extremely terrified expression but still followed the bulky man nervously.
"Although I can't fathom what this is, just his mere presence gives me a heart-palpitation feeling."
Soon, Liam was led to a white room. This white room felt strange to him and his instinct was flaring, but he could only obediently stay in place.
"He is only a Tier One wizard, while the spell is a Tier Three spell. Can he even use it?" Aur spoke casually while looking at the spell that was floating in the air.
"By the way, do you have any Time Magic spells?"
"Master, I'm sorry, but the last Time Magic spell was taken by Nina," Stella said apologetically.
"Is that so?" Aur paused, deep in thought, with a contemplative expression.
"What was that spell?"
"It was a spell that could capture the Time element and keep it in a fixed location."
"What do you mean?" Aur frowned.
"She could create a small vacuum of space where time flows for a shorter or longer duration by agitating the elements of time." Explore more stories with empire
"Interesting concept," he mumbled. The spell he had received had the main purpose of entirely slowing down the speed of time while the wizard himself wasn't affected because he was in control of it.
While this was terrifying, the most terrifying part was its consumption. If he didn't have the vast reserve of Tier Six peak Mana, it would be impossible for Aur to use the spell even for a blink of a second.
The spell was primarily constructed for training as it could last a long time, functioning more like a time chamber.
As Aur was pondering this, Stella took out an injection.
"What's this?" Aur asked lightly.
"This is one of the exclusive technologies of the sect. It can directly send mana into the mental space and this one can send Tier four mana directly into it," Stella explained.
"How useful," Aur said, raising his brows in surprise.
"It has a minor defect, causing the being injected with it to feel pain coursing through his veins," Stella added casually.
"No problem, just administer it to him."
He casually spoke, pain was something that he was very familiar with and has suffered from throughout his life, so this word pain has become so familiar that it felt like a friend to him.
But Liam, who was listening to all this, wanted to cry out, but seeing the bulky youth, he had to eat back his words.
This man was just so terrifying in his eyes; every time he even looked at the man, even his soul seemed to scream out.
Demon!
His heart palpitated in a loud thump.
Soon he was implanted with the injection without much resistance.
The rat king immediately screamed in pain; his veins appeared all over his body, and his body swelled.
"This rat king screams too much; if you scream any more then..." Aur didn't continue before the rat king shut its mouth and continued.
After ten minutes or so, he returned back to his original size, fine and dandy.
"Was he supposed to scream that much?" Aur asked Stella.
"Eh, no, master, this pain is not much. If you had taken it, you might have felt like a mosquito bite," she replied, glancing at Aur with a look of a monster reflecting in her eyes.
"So it was overreacting then?"
"No, no, I was not overreacting," the rat king, Liam, hurriedly replied, shaking its head.
"Give it to him," Aur instructed.
Soon, Liam took the Space Magic Spell with excitement and refined it.
Within just a few movements, it appeared in his mental space.
"Show me what you can do," Aur spoke lightly. He also once had a space magic spell, but its tier was only one, and he wasn't able to comprehend the magic at that time simply because he was not talented enough.
"Was it Blink?"
The higher the tier, the closer the spells are to their respective magic.
In front of his crimson eyes, Liam slowly disappeared completely, becoming invisible in front of him.
"This is…" Aur couldn't sense him at all; it was as if his entire existence had disappeared just like that.
"Master, this is a spell that can help the wizard hide in the fabric of space."
"Fabric of space?"
This was not something he was not entirely unaware of. Aur looked around intently, he couldn't sense or rely on anything including his instinct.
