Chapter 2150 The Dashavatara (Rama) -Part 18

Hanuman coughed out blood and did not understand what was happening since allies of the Dashavatara were not within the loop that the Celestial Avatars had discussed. At the same time, Rama did not have the time to tell him about this at all. It was not like the System where everyone was connected to a central 'brain' where important communications could be shared when essential.

That was more than sufficient for Sir Alan to once more bring another strike against Hanuman with his electric chainsaw. But unlike most who would swing their chainsaw to have a wide range of attack, Sir Alan retracted his chainsaw attached rifle and plunged it into the Hanuman's chest as quickly as he could.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Sir Hanuman wanted to use force to stop Sir Alan but two other Sea Hunters went into melee range and used the very same chainsaw attachment as Sir Alan, stopping Hanuman's movements. Even though it was weakened by the Anti Celestial compound, Hanuman was still struggling against it with the notion that as long as he killed his opponents quickly, he could get a healer to heal him.

But when the chainsaws from all three directions got stuck into his muscles, he could not help but feel that his life was truly in danger for the very first time.

Hanuman tried to shake the chainsaws away but at the very same time, he was not able to move as how he would want to. Only then, he realised that upon the initial two Sea Hunters stopping his hands from reaching Sir Alan, the other Sea Hunters had contributed by securing the God of Strength from moving by chaining him down.

The scene eventually turned something similar to Rama but compared to the barely living Dashavatara, Hanuman was determined to save his dear friend regardless of the odds.

The man monkey roared loudly like a gorilla in an attempt to hype himself up while trying to scare the Sea Hunters. But that roar was just an activation of his inner reserves of celestial energy. He did not care whether the poison in him was killing him for triggering the Celestial energy within but what they needed was a break from this deadlock situation that he was in.

What the Sea Hunters and Blade Mages did not know was that Rama and Hanuman were such good brothers in arms that they had exchanged their weapons as gifts on various occasions.

One such weapon that Rama had used previously was Hanuman's Travelling Sword. He had always brought it around as a good luck charm and had always served as a reminder of the friendship he had with Hanuman. The only thing was that he hardly used it mainly due to the fact that he was too strong with the bow that the sword became somewhat of a decoration piece.

However, at this point when the both of them were in trouble and Hanuman was in the range of Rama, the God of Strength used his Celestial Energy to wake his old buddy from the scabbard, enabling it to fly out and cut the heads and hands of the Blade Mages who were tormenting the Ideal Hero.

Despite the sudden turn of events, the Blade Mages continued to remain poised to finish the job. Because they all know that close combat battles had the highest risk of death, each of them had been equipped with an explosive charm filled with anti celestial compound. With the impromptu stop of their heart, the charm would react to the loss of life and activate.

And without the knowledge of their officers and leaders, this particular group of Blade Mages had been thoroughly inspired by the sacrifice of their former comrades at the initial portion of the war.

The use of Forbidden Magic to summon cosmic horrors.

Thus, in short, Hanuman did aid Rama …to his untimely death. The death of the Blade Mages had not only triggered a standard explosive charm filled with anti Celestial compound, but this particular group had to also instill the forbidden spell into said charm as well, causing the summoning and fusion of those cosmic horrors to take over the remaining portion of their bodies.

They know full well that the cosmic horrors had a mind of their own and desired the divine energies of the Celestials.

With the explosions, Rama became so severely injured that he was not able to move. The Cosmic Horrors eventually fused with the dead to take upon their bodies on the owner's behalf. As much as how Rama wanted to move, the Anti Celestial compound had accumulated to the point where it was too futile for him to even breathe.

At that point, one could say that he was merely ready to die to those Cosmic infused Horrors as Hanuman lamented the actions he had taken, wanting to do what was right again. Despite being affected by the same type of poison as Rama, he refused to accept the fact that he would die pathetically against these humans.

As shameless as it sounded, he forcefully threw his hand to one of the Sea Hunters and squashed the Sea Hunter's head, prompting the rest to double their efforts. Unlike the Blade Mages, the Sea Hunters did not prepare such violent retaliation. And because of that, Hanuman had also decided to go into forbidden territory.

The Celestials were not supposed to use any other forms of power as the Celestial powers had been deemed to be the strongest and purest of all energies. Even demonic energies could not be compared with the Celestials but they were the only thing that was the anti thesis of such powers. Thus, what Hanuman did was to absorb the magical power of the Sea Hunter he had killed.

But this sudden infusion of the human magic had created a reaction that even the Sytem's Science Department did not expect. It reacted violently against the poisoned Celestial Circuits, causing Hanuman to berserk at the spot.

Surely, he got temporarily cured of the sickness that was encroaching him and Sir Alan had commanded the remaining Sea Hunters to get away from it, hopelessly relying on the Late Blade Mages which were now infused with the Cosmic Horrors to deal with the God of Strength until they figured what was exactly happening.
