Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1479: Arrival

Chapter 1479: Arrival

Since they weren’t far from leaving the chaotic streams, that would mean that they would be arriving at the Azure Savage World soon.

For them to run into the attacks of 2 massive spiritual beasts right before they arrived made it obvious that the Azure Savage World already experienced some sort of strange change.

“It’s just an Azure World... Even if the world became a paradise for spiritual beasts and there can also exist a rank six spiritual beast, it doesn’t make sense for such powerful creatures to be born there. Not to mention when we first explored this place, we discovered that it was extremely far from any other Spirit Worlds...” Ying Lianquan explained with a look of confusion on his face.

An Azure World could house a True Immortal or equivalent existences, but there was no way they could reach the fourth tier or higher.

However, those beasts that appeared earlier most definitely surpassed ordinary high-level True Immortals.

Shang Xia thought for a moment and mumbled, “That would mean that these beasts came from other places... There might also be other spiritual beasts around the Azure Savage World and they might be the true rulers of the world. Also... That world might be at the level of a Spirit World or higher.”

Even though they were high-level True Immortal-level spiritual beasts, they weren’t Star Beasts at the end of the day. They wouldn’t dare to rush too deep into the chaotic streams and could only hover around the periphery.

Ying Lianxi sighed softly, “Even though we don’t wish to believe it, that is the truth. Anyway, the Azure Savage World most definitely experienced some strange transformation and we must prepare for the worst.”

Turning to Shang Xia, Ying Lianxi mumbled, “Brother Shang, for you to have done so much, you have long since paid back what you owe us. If you wish to leave now, we will not hold any grudges against you.”

Shang Xia chuckled in amusement. “Why are you in such a rush to make a decision for me? Anyway, it won’t be too late for me to choose after we see the Azure Savage World. After all... Don’t you guys wish to know what happened there?”

Ying Lianxi cupped his fists towards Shang Xia and lowered his head slightly. “Brother Shang, we will always remember your grace. You are an honorable person.”

Waving his hands casually, Shang Xia shifted the topic. “Don’t you guys find it weird? What if there really is a Spirit World around the Azure Savage World? How else would those beasts find their way over?”

“Could it be a coincidence?” Ying Lianquan guessed, but even he didn’t believe what he was saying.

Shang Xia shook his head. “It wouldn’t matter if they were the only ones. That might be chalked up to their luck. However, they have quite a few friends with them. For such a large pack of high-level spiritual beasts to travel through the void... Their initial target might be the Azure Savage World in the first place!” n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

“How can that be? Without a Stargazer, how did they navigate through the chaotic streams?” Ying Lianquan frowned as a look of confusion was revealed on his face.

Shang Xia continued, “That’s a little hard to say. Who knows if those spiritual beasts have an innate skill of locating themselves in the sea of stars and possess a talent of traveling through the void?”

Ying Lianxi smiled softly in response. “Since we are already planning to head there in the first place, won’t we know after we take a look?”

...

Even though there might be other spiritual beasts lying in ambush in the chaotic streams, the Spirit Ark and Star Ship didn’t slow down in the slightest. Instead, they accelerated and continued on their way.

The Ying Brothers and Shang Xia remained vigilant as they observed the situation around the ships, and they didn’t hold back their aura in the slightest.

It was then that the Ying Brothers noticed that Shang Xia had already reached the level of Extreme Harmonization and was a sixth tier True Immortal. They couldn’t help but raise their evaluation of him again.

That was all they could tell from his aura and if they learned that he had already reached the large completion stage, while also having an idea of how to comprehend his martial intent, they might have revealed different expressions.

Their auras might be weakened by the chaotic streams, but high-level spiritual beasts had an acute sense of danger. They didn’t dare to approach the Twin Star Pirates any longer.

Moreover, they had already suffered a huge setback when they attacked earlier. The spiritual beast that was a mix between a bull and a horse was killed by Shang Xia with a single blow and was being dismembered by the experts of the Twin Star Pirates on the deck of the ship. After separating every useful part, the rest of the useless fat and flesh of the beast was thrown overboard and destroyed by the chaotic streams.

The other beast lived in the hands of the Ying Brothers, but it lost a part of its claw. The part that they chopped off was given to an Artifact Grandmaster on board for evaluation and they learned that it would be a very useful treasure that can be used to craft a divine artifact embryo.

Of course, they still needed a lot of treasures to turn it into a proper divine artifact, but that was good enough.

The chaotic streams around them became weaker as they continued to travel and eventually, it became a region of calm.

It was then that they had finally discovered the location of the Azure Savage World!

Even though they knew that the Azure Savage World experienced strange transformations, they still couldn’t hold back the anticipation and excitement they felt.

“It’s here!” Shang Xia raised his head and looked into the void while playing with the horn of a beast that was 5 feet long.

...

The horn came from the beast he killed, and from the quality alone, it far surpassed the part of the claw the Ying Brothers chopped off.

Also, Shang Xia killed the beast earlier and got the Twin Star Pirates to help him break down the corpse. There were a lot of spiritual treasures produced, and the horn was the most valuable part of the beast.

He might have killed it alone, but he couldn’t hog the benefits to himself since the Twin Star Pirates were helping him to extract all useful parts of the beast. As such, all the lower-leveled spiritual treasures and a portion of the high-level spiritual treasures he couldn’t be bothered with were given to them.

...

With Shang Xia’s reminder, the Ying Brothers raised their heads to look into the distance only to see massive shadows. The spiritual beasts also rushed out from the chaotic streams and were staring straight at them.
