Chapter 313 Clue
Glancing back at the sky, the Ethereal Lotus wore a relaxed expression. However, she was still cradling a light red fruit in her hands, which was evidently something she had swiped from Blaze Regret's Void realms Stone.
After popping a few Recovery Pills into his mouth, Blaze Regret's chest rose and fell erratically, his heavy breathing faintly audible.
The spirit power consumed by deploying the Contract Spirit Array was no less than continuously activating the Crumbling Rock Palm. This level of consumption was extremely taxing even for Silver Lucas, let alone for him, a seventh tier spirit Imperial master.
"Why has she stopped?"
Sitting on the back of the Ice Control Irenix, Blaze Regret looked down in disbelief. The Ethereal Lotus, cradling the fragrant spirit fruit, had her large, dark eyes slightly closed. Around her, a light green spirit array spread out, and as the leaf shaped spirit light soared, her figure gradually became transparent.
Is it about to disappear?
As this possibility crossed his mind, the flame that had just ignited in Blaze Regret's heart was instantly extinguished, and a hint of self mockery appeared at the corner of his mouth.
If even a Spirit King couldn't successfully form a spirit contract with such a mystical beast, what right did a mere seventh tier spirit Imperial master like him have to feel more confident?
After all, this was the one and only Ethereal Lotus on the continent.
"No, that's not right. Since Master Magi didn't provide any instructions, the solution must lie within me."
Even in the depths of despair, thoughts in Blaze Regret's mind continued to whirl rapidly. Suddenly, his body jolted with realization.
Scenes from when he had fallen into the Black Water River flashed before his eyes in a frenzy, finally freezing on the moment in the Blazing Fire Spirit Tomb.
"This thing could be of great use."
Master Magi's voice echoed faintly in his mind, traveling through time, with the source of that voice coming from the room where Blaze Regret had defeated the Fire Stone Ball!
"Could it be…"
A glimmer of light crossed his eyes, and Blaze Regret hurriedly opened the Void realms Stone. A long vine, emanating a tender green glow, appeared in his palm.
This item was the Recovery Spirit Vine!
"Chi?"
With a slight twitch of her nose, the Ethereal Lotus tilted her little head, casting a puzzled glance into the air. Then, an unmistakable fear emerged on her adorable face, as if she had encountered a lifelong enemy.
Seeing the startled Ethereal Lotus, Blaze Regret felt a surge of joy in his heart. He directed all his spirit power into his palm, infusing it into the Recovery Spirit Vine.
"Whoosh!"
A tender green light erupted forth. The Recovery Spirit Vine trembled slightly before suddenly darting out of Blaze Regret's hand, splitting into countless tendrils in mid air. Each one rapidly extended in length, transforming in the blink of an eye into dozens of meter, filling the air as they descended towards the Ethereal Lotus below.
"Crack!"
The soft Recovery Spirit Vines fell like sharp spears, striking the ground around the Ethereal Lotus at lightning speed. They then plunged directly into the earth, intertwining with the soil beneath her feet, and the vines above did the same.
In an instant, the dozen or so Recovery Spirit Vines seemed to form a solid vine cage. The Ethereal Lotus, trapped within the cage, crashed against the walls in a frenzy, unable to find any way to break free. Her strange teleportation ability also lost its effectiveness inside.
Stomping her feet in anger, the Ethereal Lotus looked like a sulking child throwing a tantrum.
"Little one, after stealing so many spirit herbs from me, it's time to settle the score."
Jumping down from the back of the Ice Control Irenix, Blaze Regret looked at the pouting Ethereal Lotus, and his joyful feelings surged like a flood breaking through a dam, impossible to contain.
This mystical beast will be mine from now on!n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Damn it, if I advance to a seventh level spirit Lord master, the first thing I'll do is kill you!"
Standing at the entrance of the Black Nether Abyss, Silver Lucas gritted his teeth as he glared at the Forest Wood Lodge King below. His sinister gaze seemed as if it wanted to tear the latter to pieces.
Meanwhile, Forest Wood Lodge King remained steadfast below, its large eyes filled with intense greed. The scent of greed emanating from Silver Lucas could be clearly detected, even through the layer of black mist.
"Master, what should we do now?"
One of the elders behind Silver Lucas sighed with a bitter smile. Unexpectedly, their venture into the Black Nether Abyss not only failed to enhance their strength but also cost the life of Grand Elder Silver Lin. As for Silver Van, he wasn't of much significance.
However, aside from Silver Lucas...
"That little brat dared to kill my son. I will make him understand that the Blood Seal Gate is not something he can provoke." Silver Lucas turned around fiercely, while the elders behind him exchanged glances.
"Fortunately, Master Silver managed to eliminate all the Frostwing Bat Kings. In the future, there shouldn't be any more large scale bat tides."
Around the outer walls of Bloodstone Pass, a fourth level spirit master picked up items from the ground. After a moment, he stood up with a smile, his bag containing ice spirit cores worth at least ten thousand gold coins.
"That's uncertain. Everyone knows how strange the Black Nether Abyss is; who knows what new monsters might emerge in the future." Another spirit master lamented, shaking his head. Having spent considerable time around Bloodstone Pass, he'd heard more than a few eerie rumors about the Black Nether Abyss.
"Only the people from the Blood Seal Gate dare to enter. Anyone else who goes in dies."
"Is that so? I heard that the reason the Blood Seal Gate's master and elders advance so rapidly is related to that abyss."
What do you think?
