Chapter 314 Personal Favor
"Shh, hush now, don't let the Blood Seal Gate hear you, or you might find your neck snapped."
The noisy chatter echoed below the high walls. After each bat tide, the powerful defenders who protected the town would conduct a thorough cleanup, earning a fortune from the Frostwing Bat's spirit cores.
Leaning against a massive boulder, Walker Adam glanced at the dent on the high wall. A flash of heat flickered in his eyes. The dent was caused by a punch from a Rock Horn Dragon Rhinoceros, and within it lay the battered remains of a Bone Armor Rhino.
"I'm still too weak," he murmured softly. No one knew that at this moment, a peculiar vertical eye was embedded in the center of Walker Adam's forehead, displaying a dual hue of red and purple.
If someone were to attack him suddenly, they would discover that Walker Adam, who was once merely a ninth level spirit warrior master, had astonishingly advanced to become a genuine fifth level spirit Imperial master! This rapid progression could only be described as terrifying.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly, Walker Adam's heart stirred, and his gaze drifted into the distance. There, several figures clad in blood red robes were approaching with somber expressions.
"This doesn't look right. It seems Brother Blaze must have acted against them," he muttered to himself in a voice only he could hear. Walker Adam stood up and headed straight into Bloodstone Pass. The crowd, caught up in their excitement, failed to notice a young man with his face hidden beneath his robes vanishing from the scene.
"Where is that old guy Walker Sin?!"
A third level spirit Imperial master, busy collecting spirit cores, felt a heavy hand clap on his shoulder. He turned around, ready to curse, but the shadowy face before him made him swallow his words.
"Master Silver... the Walker family left Bloodstone Pass with their entire clan after you entered the Black Nether Abyss. No one knows where they went," the spirit Imperial master stammered, his voice trembling slightly with fear.
"Hmph!"
With a forceful press of his hand, the spirit Imperial master collapsed to the ground. Silver Lucas's face was so dark it seemed he could wring water from it. Several elders of the Blood Seal Gate stood behind him, heads lowered, not daring to utter a sound.
"I just don't believe it, that kid couldn't have just appeared out of nowhere!"
Silver Lucas declared fiercely, "Send out the message: anyone who can provide accurate information about that kid will receive a bounty of two hundred thousand gold coins, and I, Silver Lucas, will owe them a favor!"
Upon hearing this, several elders' expressions changed sharply. It wasn't the terrifying bounty amount that shocked them, but rather that Silver Lucas was willing to offer a personal favor in exchange for information about Blaze Regret!
It's well known that the favor of a spirit Lord master is enough to allow anyone to roam Bloodstone Pass with impunity.
It seems Silver Lucas is truly intent on killing.
"Understood."
One of the elders nodded slightly, then gestured for a member of the Blood Seal Gate to come over and whispered instructions with a serious expression.
In less than half an hour, the tempting bounty had spread throughout the inner walls of Bloodstone Pass.
Everyone knew that the master of the Blood Seal Gate, a powerful spirit Lord master, was offering a personal favor in exchange for information about a dual source spirit Imperial master!
"If I reveal it, that Blaze clan member will probably meet a terrible end."
In a tavern, a spirit master who had come from the outskirts of Bloodstone Pass had a gleam in his eye. "But whether he lives or dies, what does it matter to me? As long as I can gain Silver Lucas's protection, who in Bloodstone Pass wouldn't fear me, Steel Hon, to some extent?" Continue reading at empire
Having come to this realization, Steel Hon suddenly stood up, slapped several dozen gold coins onto the table with a loud smack, and walked out of the tavern with an air of satisfaction.
"Finally, my time has come!"
Gazing at the middle aged man dressed in blood red robes, Steel Hon excitedly licked his lips, lifted his foot, and quickly walked over.
"You say you know that kid?"
A chilling glint flickered in Silver Lucas's eyes as he narrowed them at Steel Hon, a bloodthirsty intent rapidly spreading within their depths.
"That's right. The kid's name is Blaze Regret, the son of Blaze Ash, the head of the Blaze Family," Steel Hon said hurriedly, shivering as he sensed the murderous aura emanating from Silver Lucas.
"Very good." Silver Lucas waved his hand, and a blood red gold coin card dropped to the ground in front of Steel Hon.
Steel Hon's eyes lit up with joy as he bent down to pick it up, but a foot suddenly stepped on it, leaving only half of the card visible.
"Your information isn't enough to earn my bounty," Silver Lucas said slowly.
After hesitating for a moment, Steel Hon's eyes suddenly brightened. He looked up at Silver Lucas in an awkward posture, trying to please him.
"There's a member of the Blaze Family inside the inner walls of Bloodstone Pass, someone named Blaze Wahab, I believe," Steel Hon said with a sycophantic smile.
"Is that so?"
Silver Lucas's foot slightly lifted, and a sinister, cold smile spread across his lips.
The Blaze Family seems to have their own spirit Lord master as well, but since your family killed my son, taking the life of one of your clan members shouldn't be a problem.
"Plop!"
The vine cage formed by the Recovery Spirit Vines fell weakly. Blaze Regret looked at the center of the contract spirit formation ahead, where the air spirit creature, Ethereal Lotus, glared back at him, visibly upset, causing him a headache.
"Don't look at me like that; it's not my fault you fell into my hands."
